While i would tend to agree with you..the thing is SC doesn’t have a decent offensive staff at all. They were 116th this year. The bulk of their team (2018-2020 recruiting classes) were all top 20. Their RB is Marshawn Loyd and their 3 WR were all upperclassmen and top 200 talent.

So it’s not like they don’t have talent..they just are plain not good. A slightly above average QB and a TE doesn’t change that

We have a bunch of chicken sh!ts in here! USCjr doesn't scare me all of a sudden because they got Rattler. He didn't get beat out by Williams. He lost his job because he was playing horribly. The cocks will need a lot more pieces to be better than average next season.

All I’m saying is he’s a major upgrade from what they have and if don’t think that then you’re delusional. Still think we win, just don’t think it’s an automatic dub anymore

Lol. Nobody is scared of SC. But they upgraded at the QB position big time. And as we have seen, an upgrade at QB can do wonders for your program.

Of course he's better than what they had. They had arguably the worst QB situation in the SEC (Vandy not included). My point is what version of him do you get? He struggled mightily against weak BIG12 defenses and Tulane this year before being benched. He was impressive as a redshirt freshman, but very mediocre this year. That was with him having superior talent to his opponents around him. What happens when he has inferior talent around him?

We’re still beating SC by 24 next year. Don’t care who they got with that crap offense. Our offense will be even better next year with another year in the system and all the talent we are bringing in on that side of the ball. Williams and Sampson along with those young wide receivers are gonna eat.

People on here have made the comment that he is a locker room cancer and that’s the only reason we didn’t want him. Yet nobody can say with any certainty that he will be at SC. And nobody could have said he would have been if he came here.

The he lost his job to Caleb Williams? Tell me again how highly ranked he was coming out of HS. We shall see if the TN fans are right about Rattler being trouble in the locker room. Big like I said, Rattler is a major upgrade from anyone SC has on their roster. That could cause us some problems. That’s all I am saying.

He is a upgrade for sure. The problem is they have a horrific OC and they know it. Even JC Shurburtt the homer of all S Carolina media is openly calling for him to be fired. He was a terrible hire in first place. I think Bartoo had him as a F when they hired him

I said he didn't lose his job to Williams. Williams didn't beat him out. Rattler handed him the job with atrocious play. The kid is unquestionably talented, but so is Joe Milton. Rattler's issues weren't because of injury or illness. He just kept making horrible decisions with the ball over and over, every single game, in an offense he was in for the 3rd year.

Spencer rattler was decent QB but not great at OK. He was hyped up because if where he played and because he had a sexy name. If his name was John Smith and he played at New Mexico State, no one would have heard about him.

Yeah he may help them beat their D-II opponent more soundly but he doesn’t scare any SEC team worth their salt.

With how much bigger his ego is than his ability I wouldn’t be surprised to see 12+ INTs for him.

He’s a headcase with an ego the size of Texas. Watch QB1 on Netflix and you’ll see the behind the scenes of him in HS. He came off as a complete douche who’s had his ass kissed and spoiled since he was 7. He’s a good talent and SCar is better with him no doubt but he’s got some character/maturity issues for sure.
