This doesn't bother me because as has already been said he is not eligible this year. If he had been immediately eligible then yeah I wouldn't like it at all. Give me Bailey and Salter for the fUTure.

I prefer HB starts immediately. JG ain’t winning the East and at least HB has the potential. The rest of the pieces are in place. With this extended practice/fall camp coming up I’m hopeful that HB shows enough to win the job.

Wow Ole Kirby just went all-in on this decision and he better hope he gets a Natty. If not I truly believe this will be the start of the end. Think about this:

If JTD gets immediate eligibility imagine the negative recruiting he is going to get for recruiting over Jamie Newman who I am fairly certain was sold that he was being brought in to be "The Man". I have a feeling that is really not going to go over well.

If JTD does not get immediate eligibility he will get two/possibly three (possible medical RS) to play after the arrival of Vandagriff. What does Vandagriff do? If he bounces that is going to leave Kirby with a gaping hole at the QB position unless he recruits someone else and who knows what could happen there.

Both of these scenarios are not going to play out well for Kirby if JTD is not the guy.

This is beautiful. UGA goes all out to promote one transfer QB... Then goes out and gets another. Oh man this is beautiful for recruiting. Look at all the promises being broken by UGA

They were at a dangerous point at the position...depth wise. Still might be after the fallout. But they’ve gone from Eason-Fromm to Fromm-Fields to just Fromm. Without adding Newman, it was looking like a Mathis vs Beck battle. Now if Daniels isn’t eligible, pieces might fall that would be disadvantageous for Kirby. Another example of how the grand plans to have a roster full of 5 star QB is an exercise in fiction. Doubt this affects Vandagriff’s plans.

I like JG and think he will improve this season. That being said, I really wish they would just start Bailey this season.

Listen, I'm no Georgia fan, but how is what you described in any way different than the scenario of nearly every major college program? You could easily apply that exact same Doomsday scenario to Tennessee if Daniels had committed here, just sub in different player names. J.T. Daniels will not be the 1st Horseman of Apocalypse for Kirby. If Kirby's ship sinks, it will be for many other reasons than stacking talent at the QB position. We have 7 QBs on our roster currently. Any coach worth their salt is always trying to recruit the best talent they can.

It looks like Kirby has a trend on the Offensive guys he is bringing in. He is not poaching guys from other coaching staffs he is bringing them in off the unemployment line. It didn't fare well with Coley and if Monken trends like he has in his last two stops I would not label the outlook as optimistic.
