I think the point he’s trying to make is years ago it was man and woman. No negotiation. Back then (50s-70s) families stayed together. You were the odd ball if you lived with a step-parent. Fast forward to now and gay is ok, women wear the pants in the relationships and divorce rates are 60% and climbing. You are now the odd ball if your parents are still together in todays America. I have nothing against gay people but I do agree that that is no way to raise a kidNo, it doesn't. Plenty of people come from homes not composed of a dad and a mom and don't shoot up an elementary school. Families are not one-size fits all, as much as you want them to be.
