No, it doesn't. Plenty of people come from homes not composed of a dad and a mom and don't shoot up an elementary school. Families are not one-size fits all, as much as you want them to be.

I think the point he’s trying to make is years ago it was man and woman. No negotiation. Back then (50s-70s) families stayed together. You were the odd ball if you lived with a step-parent. Fast forward to now and gay is ok, women wear the pants in the relationships and divorce rates are 60% and climbing. You are now the odd ball if your parents are still together in todays America. I have nothing against gay people but I do agree that that is no way to raise a kid

I think it’s better to grow up in a single parent home or broken home than to grow up in a same sex “parent” home. Of course my conclusion may be anecdotal but working with the foster system and adopting through it we’ve witnessed our fair share same sex couples fostering and adopting kids. To say most kids in these situations turn out to be mental wrecks with tons of behavioral issues would be an understatement.

Yep. Mine and my girlfriend’s biological kids are grown but since we’ve adopted a couple and in the process of another less than a year old it’s like starting over. We actually had a K5 graduation party yesterday and the school resource officer was sure to come by the classroom for some ice cream.
