Those really are nice sentiments, but they are obviously not things which can be mandated. The reality is that nothing can be done to prevent these types of incidents. All we have is the hope that a spree shooting never impacts our own families directly...
I think there is an element of truth in the country not properly addressing mental health. We've pulled resources away from there seems like and put it into law enforcement. We aren't "creating" mentally ill people, my point was they now don't have as many options to get proper treatment. I'm not talking about self-help apps on your phone, I'm talking institutions where folks that need help can go and actually get help from trained professionals. We've gutted that part of health care for decades.
I blame the entire culture, not just LGBTQ. We have a toxic culture in this country and it affects our families and schools. It isn't as simple as just blaming LGBTQ folks, like you are wont to do.
I think medicine plays a role in some. I can't count how many people I know who have their kids on antidepressants, and some of those are horrible. Kid acts up 8n school, can't punish them anymore, so give them drugs. Heck, watch the commercials and side effects for any of them. I'm not saying some don't need them, but not everyone. My sister in law got mad at her daughters dr because he wouldn't put her daughter on them, and there wasn't any issues with her. She just wanted to "prevent " issues. I've known people who changed after taking certain things. One lady was normal until her dr told her she may need them because her dad was on them. 6 months, and she wouldn't even come outside of her house. You can't convince me that some of that stuff doesn't have a negative effect on the mentality of kids. Why are we creating so many mentally ill people suddenly? Is it because we are becoming crazier or is it because we are increasingly diagnosing people that may or may not be mentally ill? Or a bit of both?
Schools aren't the culture sacred ground they used to be. They've been vilified and drug through the mud collectively to the point that there's no cultural barrier that makes them unattractive.
Gotd^mnit!!! I clearly f^^king said one man and one woman! WTF about that is doubletalk or euphemistic??!!
How exactly will that positively affect the situation? What operational change would that bring to the families? Spell it out. "One man, one woman" means nothing if you're not willing to go into detail.
I've called out the organization structure of BLM a long, long time ago and admitted I was wrong about BLM as an organization. And yeah, I support helping people that might need some help, whether it is unemployment benefits while looking for a job, SNAP benefits to feed your kids if you need some help, etc. You act like I support "welfare" just for anybody for any given reason at all, which is very far from the truth. But please, carry on with your "mUh LiBeRaLs BaD" talking points.Yet you support BLM who openly opposes that. You also support welfare which disincentivizes fathers in the home.
How much f^^king detail does it really take? Are you gaslighting me right now? One man and one woman raising a family has been the foundation American society before the past couple of decades. How exactly will that positively affect the situation? What operational change would that bring to the families? Spell it out. "One man, one woman" means nothing if you're not willing to go into detail.
Uvalde, Texas school shooting: 14 students, one teacher killed, suspected shooter dead, Gov. Abbott says
May angels attend them to their reward in the presence of the Most High, and may the Comforter attend their families and friends in this difficult time.
