Just from my perspective, he is one of the best FOOTBALL players I have watched play in quite a while. He is better this past year as a junior, than Jacoby Stevens was during his senior season.
My oldest daughter went to Brentwood Acedemy and was a football manager a few years back when some dudes named Ramsey and Barnett played there. Woodi looks to be on the same high school level as these guys (very dominant in good football leagues).
This guy's highlight reel is interception after interception after interception. BB does he tackle well? Physical? CB all the way? We'll see how he grows.
you think this staff going to get in with a bunch of TX recruits? Looking like we are going more national while also locking down the big names in state and in the backyard states

He's a combination of TJ Carter and Jalen Ramsey mixed together with the want to that drives him to cm up and hit like Jacoby Stevens. This kid trains like he's waiting on his 1st offer from Austin Peay or Carson Newman. Most Cbs love to play big Wrs this kid simply doesn't care either way. I have been impressed with him since day 1 when he first came to NPA
I think with the REAL elite recruiters they'll go anywhere there's true talent. You can't restrict recruiting to any one area in particular but have to be like CPF or ADPF and be able to recruit coast to coast. I was just having a conversation with Jarrod Parrish a former S and we were discussing guys in his class and before him. They had LB from Cali, S from Cali, LB from Va, An and Rb from NC, DL from SC, Wr FROM Tx, and so on. I said man we haven't even mentioned Ga and Fla he said yeah there were about 6 guys from those including himself from Ga. We have to get back to that variety and securing the REAL home state talent.
Not sure how you can compare a S/LB guy to a true shut down CB. Jacoby was a special kid as a S(free or strong) totally different position and responsibility than Woodi locking down one side of the field.

Hes Woodi, thats a lot to put on a kids plate. Top 5 NFL CB and a top 5 college CB. Hes good prospect with good potential. Going to be a good player but those two are a bit too much this early....
Probably the kids ceiling but what a ceiling. These type of prospects need to be in your class for sure if you are going to become what we want UT to become.
He's the next Sutton in terms of becoming a shut down corner at the next level.
He's the next Julio Jones in the sense that he's coach Pruitt's first superstar signee like Julio was Saban's first superstar signee.
It all comes down to perspective.
I agree he was more dominant. Has more of an edge to him than Jacoby.
