1st pick in the draft

I'd take Adrian Peterson.

The more and more I watch football the more I think you can take a small school wide reciever with size and speed and teach him how to be a WR.

I think you build a team like so:

You build the offensive line from the outside in starting with a blind side tackle.

Get a good QB. He doesn't have to be great.

Get a superstar running back.

Well that's how I'd build my offense.

good call on taking Peterson #1. especially when breaks downs next year and ends up on IR. and then again the next year. and the next. and the next.

Adrian Peterson has had too many health issues.

Athletic receivers like Calvin Johnson are a dime a dozen.

Quarterbacks should never be picked high; it is easily the toughest draft pick to read into.

Aside from the possibility of drafting Jamarcus Russell, which I think would be a poor idea, as a Raiders higher-up making a responsibile decision, I would wait for the hottest player coming out of the combines and pick for value.

A great running back and offensive line will make an OK quarterback look great.

Like Huard from Kansas City this year. The guy isn't an all world QB but the threat of Larry Johnson got him alot of one-on-one when they brought the strong saftey up, and also got him alot of Cover 1.

Any so-so QB with a great line can drop back in that situation and find someone open.

I mean how great do you think Manning would be if he didn't have Faulk, James, Addai, Rhodes and one of the best pass blocking offensive lines in the NFL.

If the Raiders pick a QB. I feel sorry for him if that line stays intact. He will get killed and I really can't recall the name of the running back in Oakland or any reciever except Moss and Curry. (Porter too but he never played)

They also have Lane Kiffin, which I thought was a STUPID hire. Al Davis is an idiot. They might prove me wrong but the guy put up nice numbers at USC because he had great talent and was playing weak defenses. Also the only NFL experience he has is a Quality Control coach. Which is a nice term for "Guy that gets the film together", and is a gopher for all the other real coaches.

 I'm sorry... I knew it was a joke. Just some things sound so crazy when you hear them you can't help but let out a big ol' "WTF"

That's cool, for some reason I thought of him and how many times on third down I saw the back of his jersey after the other team converted another third and long.

VERY SARCASTIC!!!!!!!!!!!! I'm so happy to see that guy go.

I'm sure he was really concerned with what your opinion about him would be at the end of his Vol career as he spent 12 months rehabbing a knee he injured while serving our football team. I'd be happy to see you go.

Quinn will be drafted first QB. Adams as first DE. Poz as first LB. I wouldn't be surprised to see Reggie Nelson end up the #1 S. No idea on CB. Of course, there could always be a combine freak that sends him to the top of his position chart.

Hughes from Cal

i'm not so sure that reggie nelson isn't the best defensive player in the draft, i think at very least he is the best in the defensive backfield.

My bad kpt, I didn't realize it would offend you by speaking the truth about a very below average player.

and I am very concerned about your opinion of me. Stewart shouldn't even be on the team b/c of what happened a few years ago.

I disagree. Jamarcus Russell will be the #1 overall draft pick.
