Sure, I'd love to see Alabama get beat again! Should the Tide be ahead of Oregon? Seeing that Oregon will play a conf championship game?

Unbelievable. I wouldn't have guessed that to happen in a million years. Oh well. Looks like the probability of another consecutive SEC BCS NC just got much higher.

So win do we get our participation rings?

That's how it works right? Get some rings, a few banners, 3 free wins and a fruit basket

Probably will happen. But I don't want to hear about "the regular season is a playoff" ever again if it does happen.

If you don't win your division you shouldn't go ahead of a team that wins their conference with the same record.

Still no. If Oregon beats USC they'll still jump Alabama and stay there if they win their conference. The extra win will keep them there. Also, the old saying still holds true, "better to lose early than late."

I think ESPN would have to lobby for Oregon in that case (like 2007 lsu...which likely mainly happened because of UGA losing badly to us and an unranked USCe that year)...and I'm not sure ESPN would be willing to do that in this case

The media will try their damnedest to get Oregon or Oklahoma(providing they beat OK State) to jump Bama, so to limit the SEC's shot at a 6th straight national championship to 50%. Just watch.

I can't say I'd honestly give much thought to picking either team over LSU, especially Oregon considering LSU already whipped them the first week of the season.

Yeah. That massive ESPN contract just screams that there is an anti-SEC conspiracy afoot.

LSU mauled Oregon. They beat Alabama in Alabama. If Oklahoma wins I'd have to hold my nose and go with it.

We outgained LSU by 80 yards. We beat ourselves with 4 TOs.

Oregon will play an extra game in the conference championship. Thus jumping the Tide. Hoping against hope. NoAlabama.

The computers won't raise them up enough and the pollsters are going to be unwilling to drop bama down a space without a loss unless ESPN tells them to

So LSU is punished with another game for going undefeated and the team they beat gets to rest and practice? Sounds fair

Well, yeah. Surely you'll all be Duck fans tomorrow night too.

I might wear green tomorrow under my orange. Definitely going to be a duck fan. Hate Kiffin and want to see Bama shut out of the NCG.

It's a no-brainer.
