I might wear green tomorrow under my orange. Definitely going to be a duck fan. Hate Kiffin and want to see Bama shut out of the NCG.

It's a no-brainer.

Hello Kiffin is going to leave Autzen with a big frown.

Ok ST is still undefeated in regulation. Wasn't that LSU's claim to getting into the title game with two losses?

Lol

No the big claim was that (2007) UGA got blown out by an okay UT team and lost to an unranked south Carolina and didn't win their conference

Politely only the last part was said out loud with "LSU actually won their conference"

For arguments sake, what would happen if UGA were to upset LSU?

Few things: bama v Oregon/OU

Or just Oregon v OU if they go "have to win conference"...but don't think they'll do that with bama

If OU loses to ok st, likely gets replaced in those by...I'd have to guess the ACC winner (Clemson/va tech)

I don’t know why everyone thinks it is a given that LSU will be in the BCS NC. They still have to play Arky and a smoking hot Georgia team in the SEC Championship (pending a win against Kentucky). I think there is a great chance we might see Alabama vs. Oregon in the NC. Definitely possible.

2003 all over again, no?

There's going to be a monstrous crapload of controversy regardless of who ends up #2. Simply amazing that it's 2011 and college football still doesn't have a playoff.

A national championship with the ACC winner would literally be the worst thing possible, including any rematches.

If it comes down to an ACC team the BCS would lose any credibility it has left. I like this thought as it would usher us into a playoff system.

I wouldn’t be surprised by either an LSU-Alabama repeat or an LSU-Oregon matchup. Oregon lost in the season opener but, potentially, could be riding the crest of a win over then unbeaten and 4th-ranked Stanford, a win over USC and a conference championship victory. That late season surge might very well push them past the tidy bowl boys.

Really, cause, personally,it seems like it'd sound better than listening to every bama fan telling us to suck their nuts because now they've got...I guess this would be a 15th NC?

No it really wouldn't...and even if the system were to fall apart because of it we'd more than likely just see it go back to "the bowls can invite whoever they want" where you get situations like #1 Michigan and #2 Tennessee in separate bowls.

Slow your roll friend. You only played a team like LSU once. There's a reason you lost to them they're simply better. Not bashing your team, they're good too, but not LSU good. They played your team with a qb who is notorious for pick 6's and handled you guys. (IIRC the starting qb got arrested a short time before your game forcing the change) Finally, in the SEC it's not about the offense its about stopping yours.

Like I said, if we wouldn't have given the ball to them four times, it would have been a different game.

I'd probably pick them to beat us again, but I do think that it would be a great game.

It's definitely a tough argument, and all the more reason why the BCS needs to be demolished.
