Ok ST is still undefeated in regulation. Wasn't that LSU's claim to getting into the title game with two losses?
For arguments sake, what would happen if UGA were to upset LSU?
2003 all over again, no?
There's going to be a monstrous crapload of controversy regardless of who ends up #2. Simply amazing that it's 2011 and college football still doesn't have a playoff.
Few things: bama v Oregon/OU
Or just Oregon v OU if they go "have to win conference"...but don't think they'll do that with bama
If OU loses to ok st, likely gets replaced in those by...I'd have to guess the ACC winner (Clemson/va tech)
I wouldnt be surprised by either an LSU-Alabama repeat or an LSU-Oregon matchup. Oregon lost in the season opener but, potentially, could be riding the crest of a win over then unbeaten and 4th-ranked Stanford, a win over USC and a conference championship victory. That late season surge might very well push them past the tidy bowl boys.
If it comes down to an ACC team the BCS would lose any credibility it has left. I like this thought as it would usher us into a playoff system.
Oregon now >>>>Oregon on Sept. 3
Slow your roll friend. You only played a team like LSU once. There's a reason you lost to them they're simply better. Not bashing your team, they're good too, but not LSU good. They played your team with a qb who is notorious for pick 6's and handled you guys. (IIRC the starting qb got arrested a short time before your game forcing the change) Finally, in the SEC it's not about the offense its about stopping yours.
