#2 Ohio State vs Indiana 6pm ET ESPN

Lots of plays in the boundary getting out of bounds stopping the clock. Faster tempo on offense... By both teams...

And only one team even attempting to run it.

yeah Im not a fan of these type of games -- like watching baseball its so slow paced

We dont. Nothing is set in stone.

Barrett "The Overrated" now has 284 yards passing, 3 TDs, 1 sack, no INTs, and a 158.6 passer rating. Definitely overrated. Sheez.

Yeah like we all knew South Carolina would beat us last year. And Vandy would beat us. Oh and that Clemson would hold OSU scoreless in a playoff game. Or that Kentucky would beat Louisville.

But hey, every game in college football is already predetermined. Good grief.

Good grief is right; once again you taking a post way too seriously, and going on a rant; even though....I was right.

Morning, all.

It was fun while it lasted, heh. Proud of the IU team for actually showing up to play serious football, even lacking a run game. They've got a real defense, and a lot of potential on O. Bet they get to a bowl game this year.

Not bad for a basketball first-last-always school.

Had fun watching the first half with you fellas last night, thanks. Game thread doesn't scroll too fast when it's this small a number of people. Can't have conversations in the Vols game thread...it scrolls pages as fast as this thread scrolls posts. Pity, because it's fun sharing thoughts during the game with you guys.

Go Vols!

Most of the passing game issues in the first half were on the WRs. They couldn't get open or separated from simple coverage.

True but the touchdown when they took the lead and the touchdown after were 5 yards passes and the RB and WR did the rest.

Thats 140 of his passing yards. Maybe it was first game jitters but he didn't look good.

As expected, the national and big 10 guys are all racing to get a mea culpa on record stating that the underrated what is clearly a top 10 Indiana team. Usually, you set up the straw man before the game.

Indiana secondary looked really good.

Dare I say D4H might actually have been onto something...

If Indiana had some halfway decent athletes on defense that could stop a drag route, then they would have covered. Pretty embarrassing to let guys take short routes 60+ yards on consecutive drives like that.

Indiana did expose Ohio State though. They are not a playoff team. Oklahoma and Michigan are beating them. In fact any team with halfway decent athletes that can match their physicality should be able to beat them.

Ohio State has serious weaknesses at QB, WR, and CB.

When you watch a urban Meyer game it just makes me wish we had a guy with that type of mentality here. Even when the team doesn't play well they always have a chance to blow the score open because they just don't settle. If they're within 3 yards on 4th down they're going for it.
Butch is the complete opposite. When he finally does muster up the courage to go for it, it just feels like the players and coaches are all up tight...because uts so rare and forced for him to take a chance. As much as it's sucks, it's just a matter of time until we'll have to make a coaching change. You can win big and be afraid to take chances.

Bingo.

Butch coaches scared. And it's his biggest weakness. Along with caring what the media says as well as always trying to control the narrative.

If he had a personality that didn't give a sh## he would be much better.
