Hey man, can you tell me the rubber boot trick again?

Sure, it goes something like this:

You get your tail beat year in and year out by a team for about a decade, sparing one game, then try to make yourself feel better by going to the local Wal-Mart, half-drunk, and buying a nice new pair of rubber boots. The next morning you wake up with a headache and see those shiny rubbers and think: "Dang it, those rubber boots are crap. And we are STILL owned by Tennessee."

Get ready tide. The VOLS are coming and we aren't in a good mood.

That's almost funny considering that post could've been made last week...it's to the point now where smack talking by us is funny.

Good point. All we can do right now is laugh to keep from crying. . . .although an upset in Tuskerlooser would help a lot.

I admit that Fulmer has had our number. He has had a hell of a career man, and my hats off to him. Bama nation has been in the dumps for a long time now and it just feels good to be back in the spotlight man. Sorry if i come across as an ******* sometimes. RTR!!!!

Don't you worry bammer. CPF's career is far from over. Like I said in another post, this is it. This is as good as it is going to be for ya'll. You will get to beat Ole Miss and then the expectations and dreams in bammer land will be so high! Then the bammer beat down day comes and it will all be washed away in crimson tears. I will crack open a cold one for you and laugh.

No, you'll be losing on the 4th Saturday in October.  UT's defense is good, I'll give you that.  But Bama's is better.  Bama has THE best defense in the SEC.  It's a fact.  Losing Allen is going to hurt you against Alabama, Brodie will be hooking up with Hall, Brown, and Caddell all day long.  Bama's offense is far superior to UT's.  Gerald Riggs might be the most overrated player in the conference.  Face it, Bama is the better team and is going to win the game.  My victory cigar is ready and waiting.

Guys dont you know that Bammer is better at everything?

1. Coaches screwing their secretaries and then get caught in a lie and then admit you lied on TV.

2. Coaches hiring hookers and such with the University Credit Card. ( It's rollin' baby!!)

3. Buying football players and then saying "If your coach hadnt told on us we'd be national champs for the 317th time this week." Well if you didnt do anything wrong, he wouldnt have had to turn your dirty inbread sister humpin ass in.

You know we cant compete with that guys.

And were coming to Tuscaloosa with a bad attitude. Dont expect a blow out just because Allen is hurt. 2 other DB's have had huge picks in the last 3 ball games. All 3 were almost pick sixes. Heffney and Wade have played great. Plus your young offensive line hasnt faced a defensive line like ours. We will be saying hello to Crodie Broyle quite often. Your offensive line isnt that great and Croyle has been sacked a few times this year and you have only ran the ball in 2 ball games this season. This will be a low scoring, bloody nosed, hard hitting, im gonna knowck for sheep loving ass in the ground football game.

Your expecting to win because we are down, we just lost a big football game, you beat Florida, had a week off and have Ole Piss. With everyone expecting to win, you might forget that you have to play the game. Back in 1999 every tide fan and football player told so many of my friends at UA that they have nothing to worry about. Alabama had beaten Florida that year, they had Mr. heisman, and we came in their house, shut them the &^%$^ up and whipped their ass. We didnt have much offense that year either but had enough to win. Dont under estimate us. Were comin, and were comin to win at a place we havent lost at since 1999 and havent lost at Bama since 1991. Were not scared of you.

Ok first of all, I'm not a Vandy fan.  I am in fact a Bama fan.  As for the idiots out there who keep saying this game is on the 3rd Saturday in October...October 1st, October 8th, October 15, OCTOBER 22nd is Bama vs. UT.  Next, Brodie is injury prone but he's been hit plenty this year already and he's doing just fine.  He's basically a robot at this point, he's been reconstructed so many times I don't think he can be broken again.  Also, you haven't been playing mobile QB's all season.  Darrell Hackney is awesome, but he's not a mobile QB.  Chris Leak, also not a mobile QB.  So that was a dumb statement.  Brodie will poke holes in your undermanned secondary all day.  By the way, don't worry about Prothro being out and not returning kicks for us anymore.  On kickoffs, look for a little guy named Brandon Brooks wearing #5.  He is fast, quick, and absolutely tiny.  He will get lost in the crowd on kick returns and bust out of the pack for big gains.  He returned one against Auburn two years ago for six, then Prothro took over.  Now he's back and he's gonna do some more damage.  2 weeks until Bama brings the pain.

And you have never won on the 4th Saturday vs. Fulmer.

It would have to have been with your sister because you tied us that year.

Bama wins one game and now they think they are back. Just remember this is the same team that was only up 9-7 at half vs mighty MTSU, and were it not for a lucky circus catch on 4th down before half were in trouble vs Southern Miss. Yes they whipped Florida, but they are not invincible. I look for the Vols to hit China Croyle early and often, gonna be hard to throw from his azz!!

I keep reading the same responses from you orange sissies. "Our season is over but ruining your's will make our's worth it". It's sad really. And your fake confidence in this game is amusing. Yall are pretty much banking on hurting Brodie, everyone of you has said "after we hurt Brodie, we're gonna destroy yall". What if Brodie stays healthy? He's been hit plenty this year already, he even takes off running for first downs now, and he's fine. He's going to pass all over your weak secondary. And don't forget about Darby. Sure yall have a good D-line, but didn't Florida? I believe Darby ran for over 100 in that game. I read today that Ainge is going to play too, HAHAHA. That's great news. That pass against LSU from the end zone was pure genius. Face it, our team is better than your's. We are playing at home and the crowd noise is going to be intense. LSU was loud but the halftime score was also 21-0. Get down like that against our D and the game is simply over.

Are there any Bama fans with some intelligence and class that can come on here and debate about the game without talking smack and acting so low rent? I guess that would be like asking for a miracle! :search:

Yall keep mentioning the MTSU game where we were up 9-7 at the half. That was the first game back from injury for our ENTIRE backfield. Once they got it together, we were fine. They finished strong and won 26-7. UT, on the other hand, barely beat UAB 17-10. That's not the halftime score, that's the final. And UAB's receiver had the game tying TD go through his fingertips. UAB just got done losing to SMU last Saturday. Meanwhile, you have TWO double digit losses on your resume, which should be three. If anybody besides Les Miles was coaching that LSU game, there would've been no comeback. But keep reminding yourself of the MTSU halftime score, because that'll be very relevant come 2 weeks from now. Demeco and company, bringin the pain, in 11 days.

Enjoy the next 2 weeks because come October 22, the great pumpkin Fulmer and your orange clad excuse for an SEC contender are going to be embarssed, again, on national television.  Roll Tide!

Dude, your beating a dead horse. We all know we are not very good right now......

Jenn, I would be happy to debate the game with you. I was just having some fun. I'm interested to know why exactly Vol fans are so confident about this game. Please, ask me any questions you would like and I will respond.

I'll break it down why Bama wins. You think the Vols are heading into T-town with a "bad attitude"? LOL Bama was set up by Fulmer, Roy Kramer and the NCAA to take a fall. Did any of you even follow the trial? All SEC schools were warned that Albert Means' coach was selling to the highest bidder of boosters except one...Alabama. Fulmer as the "secret informant" and Kramer sat back and watched Logan Young take the bait, unbeknownst to Alabama. The only reason any of this came to light was because of litigation...we would have never known of Fulmer's back stabbing. Of course what can you expect from a man that stabs his friend, and the man that hired him, in the back while he was in the hospital with heart trouble?! I'm sure Johnny Majors wishes he could take that hiring back! Fulmer is a good coach but lacks ethics and a conscience. You'll see a bad attitude Sat. 22nd but it won't be wearing orange! RTR!!!
