Jenn, I would be happy to debate the game with you.  I was just having some fun.  I'm interested to know why exactly Vol fans are so confident about this game.  Please, ask me any questions you would like and I will respond.

The VOL fans are confident about this game:

1. Because the majority of VOL fans never give up on their team.
2. Because the recent Vols/Bama records speak for themselves.
3. Because we have been playing better at our away games.
4. Because we are coming to Bama the same way we went into LSU, with a loss and you know how that turned out.
5. BECAUSE WE CAN BE!!!!! It's better to be positive than negative!

I'll break it down why Bama wins. You think the Vols are heading into T-town with a "bad attitude"? LOL Bama was set up by Fulmer, Roy Kramer and the NCAA to take a fall. Did any of you even follow the trial? All SEC schools were warned that Albert Means' coach was selling to the highest bidder of boosters except one...Alabama. Fulmer as the "secret informant" and Kramer sat back and watched Logan Young take the bait, unbeknownst to Alabama. The only reason any of this came to light was because of litigation...we would have never known of Fulmer's back stabbing. Of course what can you expect from a man that stabs his friend, and the man that hired him, in the back while he was in the hospital with heart trouble?! I'm sure Johnny Majors wishes he could take that hiring back! Fulmer is a good coach but lacks ethics and a conscience. You'll see a bad attitude Sat. 22nd but it won't be wearing orange! RTR!!!

Sorry, but there are not too many on this board who care about that mess. Besides, none of it would've happened if bama wouldn't have cheated in the first place. Enough said.

Why is that so hard to understand? Cheating - caught - punished.

Logan Young cheated. Alabama didn't know about the Means bidding but all other SEC schools were notified of the situation moths in advance and told to get their boosters away...why would that be? Why wasn't Alabama notified too? Why was Fulmer a "secret informant" and didn't follow NCAA protocol if you suspect a school of cheating? If I approach a highschool player and offer him $10,000 to go to Tenn, does that make Tenn a "cheater" or me?

The University of Alabama thought it was above the rules because it was the mighty Tide. I bet if the truth was known, not even HALF of Bama's infractions were uncovered.

Sad part is if you offered a player $10,000 to go to UT they would take it. Bammer offered $150,000 and he ended up @ Memphis St. Tells me something...

Don't cheat and you won't get caught. Simple for most, conspiracy to others.

Live the dream. Interesting that Bama coaches (esp. Ivy Williams) were making hundreds of calls to LY - I'm sure they were just golfing buddies :biggrin2:

LY is tied to PBjr and Mal Moore. LY has claimed to have been buying players for years. It has been going on for years. If you want conspiracy, you better look at home first.

Many at Bama knew of the problems and also knew something needed to be done about it. If the Bama administration believes the same way you do, your school will be back on probation before long. Better hope they (Bama admin) recognize the truth.

None is so blind as he that will not see.

BLKBRD, it's not that LIO doesn't comprehend, she's just like the rest of us that quit caring about this story 2 years ago.

Yall keep mentioning the MTSU game where we were up 9-7 at the half.  That was the first game back from injury for our ENTIRE backfield.  Once they got it together, we were fine.  They finished strong and won 26-7.  UT, on the other hand, barely beat UAB 17-10.  That's not the halftime score, that's the final.  And UAB's receiver had the game tying TD go through his fingertips.  UAB just got done losing to SMU last Saturday.  Meanwhile, you have TWO double digit losses on your resume, which should be three.  If anybody besides Les Miles was coaching that LSU game, there would've been no comeback.  But keep reminding yourself of the MTSU halftime score, because that'll be very relevant come 2 weeks from now.  Demeco and company, bringin the pain, in 11 days.

Let me ask you something dude, when was the last time ya'll had a winning season and wasn't on probation when it did matter? Ya'll are going to be crying in your beer in 2 weeks after come down and take ya'll to the wood shed in your own house....LSU is better than Bama, we came back from 21-0 at half time....We own Bama in Tuscalooser and that's not about to change...Go back to your trailor park :thefinger:

Bama wasn't set up by anyone but themselves....If ya'll weren't dumb enough to cheat and not get caught ya'll wouldn't have been in this mess....Bammers kill me, they never do anything wrong..."We were set up WAH WAH WAH!!!!" When it really should say..."We were dumb enough to cheat and get caught"

As far as Majors goes...Who cares? We got what we need/want in Fulmer

Conscience? Since when does conscience have to do with a football game? Don't act like if ya'll hadn't have caught us you wouldn't have turned us in....You damn sure would have.....Someone will have a bad attidude the 22nd but it won't be Bama that's for sure......Go back and crawl into whatever sewer it is you crawled out of :twocents:

The true question for a troll is whether you'll return when you lose to face up. I have a feeling that, with another UT win, we won't see most bama "fans" again.

Brd, Fulmer and Spurrier both warned DuBose about what was going on in Memphis, and that is a fact. DuBose would not back off, and it burned your program. You are truly misinformed if you think this did not go all the way to the top of the program. I am sorry, but the truth hurts.

Gosh, you seem proud to be a Vol. Who is going to come back on here and eat the crap you are saying when/if Bama wins? Better yet, go ahead and make up the excuses for why your offense is going to suck. Ainge/Clausen will be going up against their biggest competition of the YEAR. LSU defense...eh...UF defense...eh hell we picked them apart. I'm calling it, Ryans will FINALLY get a pick instead of batting them down, I have no doubt Simpson will have an interception, and I feel good about saying that Peprah will be hovering over Clausen/Ainge a few times while they lay on the ground.

SEC people here are more than willing to take their medicine, but do not be surprised if the Vols sneak up on you. The defense will be the best you face all year. The offense, well that is another story. They may not be able to score on Bama.

You got it #10. We all came back after the UF and UGA losses and gave credit where it was due. Also, some LSU fans had the class to come back and do the same. I doubt we see too many Bama fans come back when UT wins.

And #10, you and I will never have a reason to be ashamed to be a Vol fan!

Well as you all know, the 3rd Saturday in October rivalry will be renewed 2 weeks from now.  First, Bama has to take care of the pitiful Ole Miss Rebels.  Then, your 3-2 vols come to Tuscaloosa for what promises to be a glorious weekend for Tide fans.  Your team has shown that they simply have no offense, but considering Bama kept UF's "amazing" offense to just 3 points, it makes no difference how good or bad your offense is.  Your defense is supposedly very stout, but then again UF's was supposed to be even better.  31 points and a Bama win later, their defense was left looking sub par.  Now, we Tide fans know what it's like to lose a big impact player (Prothro), and I hated seeing Jason Allen go down because you never like to see a player get hurt...however, the rest of your secondary is average at best and I see Brodie having a field day against it.  I don't really see UT even making this much of a game, my prediction is Bama 24  UT 7.  The UF game was the loudest I've ever heard Bryant-Denny but it won't compare to the noise Clausen and company are going to have to try and deal with 2 weeks from now.  Bama will move to 7-0 and your "national championship" contender  will fall to 3-3.  Enjoy the next 2 weeks because come October 22, the great pumpkin Fulmer and your orange clad excuse for an SEC contender are going to be embarssed, again, on national television.  Roll Tide!
