#20 Kentucky @ #1 Georgia 7:00 PM ET (ESPN)

I tried to give you some credit as a possible stat major, because you sure as hell aren't an English major - your comprehension skills are weak!

*Might* beat us means it's a possibility. We're improving, but not nearly as good as last year and if you think a road victory in Lexington is a given this year, then hats off to you.

You proved yourself as ignorant when you alluded to the fact they weren't saying they would beat us, then proceeded to say you had never even visited their message board...
I apologize for repeatedly making you look stupid, but I do envy your ability to be unburdened by critical thinking.
Do you consider yourself an intelligent person? I would bet that you're the only person around here who does ....

Kentucky football sucks.

Yeah the qb thing is more of a historical flaw. I think the UGA we saw last night is what you’ll get with the rest of the season. I only hope the Vols put up more of a fight than KY displayed. UGA May lose a game but I don’t think it happens til the post-season. We shall see.
Knoxville is gonna be bumping this year and UGA won’t win without earning it. Best of luck to y’all.

As much as I hate to say it UGA is once again the cream of the SEC. Of all the games mentioned I think UT has best shot. But that would be up there with last years Bama win.

Even then, this Tennessee team hasn't shown me anything so far that makes me think they could beat Georgia even with the Alabama-like atmosphere. If Georgia loses, it maybe more on Georgia.

I really don't see Georgia being challenged until they get to Atlanta. I do think Alabama is getting quietly better each week. Saban seems to be coaching the heck of this team now. The lazy, out of touch Saban from the narrative seems to be gone now unfortunately. Alabama isn't as good as the past but they are still a threat to everyone, including Georgia.

I'm not sure about that. I have no doubt whatsoever that the UGA team UK saw will be exactly the team we will get. UGA doesn't really have a lot of challenges that will excite them. UF, UT and the SECCG/playoffs will bring out their best. The others? They'll do enough to win comfortably but they won't be focused and full of piss and vinegar like we saw Saturday. I've heard it said that you can get a team up 2 or 3 times a year. Outside of those games, you get their B/C game instead of that A effort.

This is why I stopped being a raiders fan a long time ago. It's football damnit! Not some face painting, cross dressing, Halloween party. I just hate that crap. They look like extras from the Bettlejuice movie.
It was the way the Oakland Raiders played back in the 60s and 70s that inspired that trend. When Oakland and Kansas City met back then, it was must see tv. There was no love lost and cheap shots galore. It was more street fight than football. Loved the Raiders back then. Still hate Buck Buchanon for his body slam of an aged George Blanda, but that was how that game was played. That's how those Raiders played. No better example of that era than Ben Davidson.

I've been around a while as well. The raiders were real back then. Ole 00 Jim Otto the iron man, Lyle Alzado, Ted Hendricks "the stork", Recycled Jim Plunkett winning superbowls, and a bunch of others. Loved John Madden as the coach. They were something before it turned into a clown show.

True. Don't get me wrong, I was replying to Proud Army Wife about UGA's attempt to copy it. The Raider fans of old weren't into that sort of thing, but the team reputation and the way they played established their "persona". Guys like Davidson and Alzado were definitely a different breed. When Madden was the coach, that was my team. Loved everything about them. Killed me when Franco Harris made that catch and snatched a victory. To this day, I still don't think the refs got the play/rule right. Best thing about that era was that players didn't move as much. You got to really know a roster, the coaches and personalities. Once the Raiders left Oakland, that organization just wasn't the same. My love for the NFL began with SuperBowl I and only started to wane when they started to monkey with the rules especially with the targeting crap. I was still into it until Peyton retired. Once they started to disrespect the flag, anthem and country, I didn't bother. Same with every other professional sport. Haven't watched an NFL, NBA or MLB game since....well...actually it was the second MLB strike when Glavine was the Braves rep that did me in with that sport. Yeah, I was a big Oakland A's fan back then, too.
