They were ready for the run. Johnson hasn't gotten to the outside once so there is nothing that makes me believe he would have gotten into it on that play.

I agree, it was a good play call. Ahmad Hall has been doing a good job all year but he had an Arian Foster moment at the goal line.

That's true. Usually I expect the distance to always be there with him - its just a matter of if he gets it inside the uprights and not wide left/right.

unfortunately though we've been running east/west with johnson all day and every time we do we've been stuffed for no gain or 3-5 yard loss

the bears D is simply this: stop the run; they're not a passing team and their Wrs arent a threat so we wont treat them like one. they've been playing the run and realizing that we wont be able to make a whole drive down the field for points by just passing..

We're going to need a few more picks from Rex to pull this one out imo if the first half trend continues. And in other news Brandon Jones is doing really well!

I wasn't bashing Ahmad Hall. I was criticizing the call. I just thought we should've given it to one of the better playmakers on the team in that situation.

TD! The bears really need to adjust, Collins is lighting them up! Look for the run to start working soon if we get another successful Collins led drive.
