I don't think everyone should be worried about not getting Hendrikson now. We can sign Hendrikson for the depth; moreover, if the kid is good enough, it won't be too difficult to move him to another position on the OL. Like everyone has said, we need all the help we can get on the OL.

I'm not worried about missing out on him, I just felt that if there was a way to get him on the team the staff should do it. I would feel a lot safer with some depth on the o-line.

According to James Briant, we aren't likely to sign Hendrixson now. They both were on campus this weekend, and he says that the staff got the one they wanted. If it were up to me, we would sign both.

The Brown's are not coming, not going to happen. If it was, there wouldn't be the silence, IMO.

I don't know about that. To me the silence might actually be a good thing, it could mean that the Brown family and the coaches are really debating on this. I would think if Bryce was going to transfer to Kansas State he would have already broke the news. I don't think it would take this long to get his release from the program.

There's a reason why no one's heard of him...... Does Dooley know we're the University of Tennessee, not the University of Scrubessee? I hope he works out well for us tho.

This guy is probably better then what we would have been putting on the field if we hadn't signed him... :whistling:

Well its common sense really, I would think the guy who has been playing center for a majority of his football career would be better than two converted centers...

But oh well, we can't always please every one.

No you don't.

You want him to fail miserably so you can continue to spout off your drivel. Exactly what else did you have in mind for one of the remaining scholarships for the '10 class? Was there a 5-star JUCO left unsigned that you've been begging us to go after since Signing Day? No?

Oh, wait I've got it. Was there a stud like Nick Lamaison still out there just waiting to be uncovered?

To Short for Guard or Tackle IMO... 6'1"

Why would u do that in May, 9 months before signing day and u have seen how your class is shaping up? Would not be smart to offer Hendrixson this early...JMO

Gotta love the name "Gooch!" I immediately think of the bully on the old tv show "Different Strokes." (RIP Gary Coleman).

indeed, they never showed what the gooch looked like neither

Nope! He was always referenced in name only on that show.

From this day forward, I will only refer to Darin Gooch as simply "The Gooch." :)

You know, there's a saying that goes something like "better to not say anything and be thought a fool, than open your mouth and remove all doubt". I'd recommend looking into that.

We need bodies to fill all the holes in our roster. We can't expect Dooley to get all 5 star guys to fill them. That would take far too long. Any depth at that postition is good. We can pick and choose later.
