No way Lathers was offered by LSU, or else he would be there instead of UT.

Go to scouts, rivals or ESPN and look him up on class of 2009. He was offered by LSU on all 3 sites.

Do u believe that all recruits would prefer LSU to UT.

Your wrong on this one, Sorry!!

He won Mr. Football in the same league as Marlon Brown.

I think we are solid at LB, if everyone comes back to full strength. The big thing is that a lot of guys got experience in a very solid system last year. If you had to list the top 3 questions going into next season I think they would be:
1. Who is QB? And can they produce?
2. Who plays on the OL?
3. Can the 3 LB with injuries come back to full strength?

MLB- Reviez/Lathers
SLB- Thompson/King (I think King could start here, but I like Thompson)
WLB- Fraizer/Askew/NMT

I think there are 7 guys right there that can play in the SEC and I think there are 4 (NR, SF, GK, LT) who can play at a high level. I was big on NR when he was playing. He was in control of the D and always around the ball. If they are healthy (which they should be), then we are fine at LB, if not then Ralph, Askew, or someone else (Nelson/Jac) will have to step up and they were recruited here to do it. This is def. not a position to be worried about recruiting wise.
Agree. The OL is my biggest concern heading into 2010.

Just signed a SS from Texas that is 5'10" and 195lb. Could turn into a LB as well. Loften is quite a hitter all his service reports say..

Two of the list are walkons for what ever that is worth. But don't we seem small like in weight on several of these kids.I think OL is our biggest need if DD wants to run some big nastys would be nice.Anybody know if DD has a problems playing young guys .Hope not.
