Nice job by Kim Clijsters in her comeback. Venus played well, but Clijsters (for a mother) will put her foot on ur throat and not let up if she gets a chance. Now, back to the men..

But man, she's ugly as a bowling shoe. Would not partake.

I really really wanted to see a Fed/Nadal final and was pretty sure it was gonna happen, but then I guess that's why they play the matches.

Nadal has gotten better every match. I don't see him losing.

I have to admit I overlooked the Djoker in Fed's half the entire tournament. Still, I thought Fed would handle his business knowing what was on the line. I didn't get to watch it and was stunned when I got the scoring updates for the 2nd and 4th sets.

On the other hand, I think Djoker is a worse matchup for Nadal. Djoker has his number on hardcourts 7-3. Nadal's usual strategy of going after opponent's backhand shouldn't be as effective against Novak.

Key will be if Novak is rested and is mentally present.
I hope they get rained out today so that Novak gets a longer rest.

Nadal will never have an easier road to the title. Del Po will be back next year. He knows that and will be ultra aggressive today in the final.

I have a firm belief that Fed was not well yesterday. I didn't see any post match interviews or comments but he really didn't look all 'there' yesterday. He didn't look 100%.

He didn't look good. I wonder if he's simply not in good shape.

Nadal/Djokovic coming up in a bit. I need to run home to get this preserved on DVR. Nadal is a machine -- he'll roll.
