I don't think we can expect a big 2012 class for a couple reasons. 1) Martin didn't have the time to get in with big time prospects. 2) We have very few seniors leaving (two). So I figured I would comprise a list of players that Tennessee has offered for 2013 so far. I don't know all of who is considering Tennessee, but I figured it's a start.

I don't think we will get any of the top recruits to the Tennessee programs. We will regularly get the top recruits that would usually go to the O.V.C. or the M.A.C. or JUCO players.
I don't see our future recruits ever being dominant S.E.C. players.
When Jerry Green was here and winning, we only got the guard from Memphis, his name was "Tony", but I don't remember his last name.
When Wade Houston was here, we got one, and that was his son.
When Pearl was here and we were winning, we didn't get those type of players.
What would be different now?????
If we can't do it with a winning program under Jerry Green & Bruce Pearl, what makes you think we can recruit better players when our program is back in a down period????

smh @ nevavols smashing a positive thread ;)

seriously though, i thought there was another Memphis kid that we were pretty high on that was ranked high. Probably King to Memphis and Williams to Arkansas. Hopefully we can grab one of those guys.

You're right...no one wanted Vincent Yarbrough, Charles Hathaway, or Ron Slay. Matter of fact, no one C.J. Black, Hopson or Tobias. You know we really had problems luring in the good SEC caliber guys. SMH

We will likely never get a top player to come to our program again. All is lost for basketball. No chance that we will ever be competitive again. The only coach who could possibly win here is gone.:cray:

Absolutely correct. Kwonszo has no bidness coaching at UT! I swear I'll set TBA on fire if he ever wins a game!!

Clearly the top three targets are Nick King, JW3, and Austin Nichols. Anything new on these kids?

Also, two wild cards: Jimmy Taylor and Robert Hubbs. Anyone know anything about these two?

And looking ahead for 2014, it looks like our #1 legitimate target is Jalen Lindsey from Franklin.

If we can just keep in state, we'd be loaded. The Memphis area is stocked even better than it usually is.

From 2011 to 2013, the state of Tennessee is loaded. Too bad we're not at the top of our game to capitalize on it. We really need to turn it around and play well in conference. Show these kids there is some promise in our program.
