you found video yet?

Yea there's some on YouTube I believe. He's a bit raw, not yemi raw, but he's not developed like a Cauley-Stein either. You can't teach 7'2" with good feet, and that's why he's coveted. He'll be a very good player by junior, maybe sophomore year.

I don't have Scout membership but I'm pretty sure his Scout profile lists his Top 5... Clemson, Kansas (I seriously, seriously doubt he has a legit offer), Stanford, A&M, and UAB.

Any relation to UAB's head coach? Or do they spell their name different. Think his last name is Haas too.

Makes me wonder where we stand with Trayvon Reed...We are listed on almost every website for him...

Haven't seen anything official, but ill be surprised if we are high on Haas' list. I would expect the staff to really pursue Hurt, he's exactly what they need for the 14-15 season.

my only concern with hurt is the level of competition..I mean comapring leagues only 5 players in in the A-sun are 6'10 and above...2 of those on mercer....SEC 12 players 6'10 above...a 6'10 high schooler is better then a 6'10 middle schooler as an example..so he may not be up for the banging in the Sec or to slwo to defend the bigs here....thoughts

Legitimate concern, so lets see what he did against "big programs" as a freshman last year; against Ole Miss, Kentucky and Memphis:

The double double vs KY was inspirng..but boht memphis and Ole miss were play guys 6'9 and shorter...I love the numbers just concerned..I mean Noel had 7 blocks...I'm sure not all those were agianst him...I'd love to see him on campus...just have some cautiously optimistic

Playing at NWF he will get great coaching, and play good competition...should get a good idea of what he can do. I mean Stokes didn't light up Kentucky, and he had his fair share of shots blocked by Noel/Stein. This guy put up Stokesesque numbers against those teams, as a FRESHMAN. Assuming he progresses just a little bit, he would be a welcomed addition to the big man lacking 14-15 team.

True that and I like Forbes as a coach to get his straight..I know he had weight issues coming out of high school.. but that seems behind him...your convincing me BTO
