2014 Dobbs and Worley sharing

Wotley would have had a better season if he would keep the ball and run when he has the chance. Maybe they will pound that into his head this spring.

Worley doesn't have the arm to stretch the field and neither him or Dobbs are very accurate. Hopefully Riley is more accurate, he has the strongest arm of the 4 and is a threat to run.

Ok, I'm slow, but I finally figured it out. Regards of experience or reps....the only perfect QB that also makes WR's run perfect routes every game and catch passes....is the QB in waiting. So, I'm with you guys. . With him, there will be no need for WR's to run route's and this Miracle QB can WILL things to happen. Even Peyton Manning himself will be shocked and study our QB... I am convinced, it must be a QB that has not ever tooken a game rep. It has to be Fergy or another back up...

Point being we should let which ever QB grow into the position....

Think it's probably Ferguson. He was ahead of Dobbs for a reason and is just as mobile and probably more. Ferguson has the much stronger arm too.

But it is a proven fact that Riley was behind Dobbs when he was hurt. Before that they were tied. I don't know why RF supporters keep telling a bold faced lie that has been proved wrong. I don't know who will start next year but this RF greatness and him being ahead and better is bs. Dobbs outperformed him in every game situation. RF does well in drills but not game situations. Dobbs will have a leg up after starting the last few games and had passed him anyway. He did well against some great teams considering the weapons he has to work with. I don't know which one wins next year but Dobbs has a great shot. Rf has never played and may pull a Peterman. Who knows?

No
If Worleys healthy I see him starting over Dobbs
Dobbs isn't a passing threat

How many time have you seen Worley gain yards running? How many times have you seen Dobbs gain yards running?
In 4 games, thats FOUR games... How many incomplete passes has Dobbs thrown?
In however many games, How many incomplete passes has Worley thrown?
(into the dirt included)

TSR says Ferguson was ahead of Dobbs before he was injured. Ferggie better be the best QB on the team or we will win 4 to 5 games max next year. If Ferg isn't a big improvement over Dobbs and Worley, we have a huge problem.

I know the next post will say...the back-up is the most popular player until he plays. Peterman bla, bla, bla. I'm not saying Ferguson will be better, I'm saying if he is not much much better, we are screwed.

Riley Ferguson may very well be our best option next year but to say we will only win 4 or 5 games next year with Dobbs or Worley is a tad bit premature. Freshmen like Dobbs can certainly progress from year one to two and don't forget that we be a top ten team with Worley as QB.

Dobbs will more than likely be the starter next year. Like it or not, that's the way it is. Dobbs now has experience. Experience against top ten teams. Oh, and throw in the number 1 team in the nation, as well. Oh, also... He's a TRUE freshman. Meaning last year he was playing in HIGHSCHOOL. He made some mistakes, sure. But this kid has wheels. He's got an arm, too. How about you go out there with 'Bama, Missouri, Auburn and a bloodthirsty Vandy trying to break you in half and see his many throws you can make... War is won by the battle hardened. Not by the private thrown onto the field right out of basic.

There is a reason he was 3rd 4th string qb this year. He got the start because of injury and CBJ didn't want to burn RF's red shirt.

Your boy will be lucky to see the field next year. Kind of like this year.

Worley will start.. he's the best QB on the roster.. though nobody wants to admit it even though they seen it to be true on the field.

it will be hard to say who will start as QB next year,Worley was on the up swing before his injury,Dobbs is highly inaccurate,Petermen only got one chance to play and it didn't go well,it is hard to judge him after only one half of football and we haven't seen Ferguson take a snap during a game, but he was ahead of Dobbs on the depth chart and was injured,or he would have been playing,so it will be an interesting fight for the QB position this coming year

and didn't it seem like there were a lot of injuries during practice this year ?

Proof you haven't watched one game this season  Dobbs can't throw the long ball and most of the time he is throwing into coverage or throwing low...His 1st TD pass 4 games into his career I might add was a fluke pass that should've been an INT but true to form UK was just that much worse...Dobbs will be lucky to see the field this next season...If he does then CBJ should be fired unless he is our absolute last desperate choice....He is easily the most overrated QB to come down the pike in a long time.

I don't like the QB by committee approach. Whoever CBJ thinks is good enough to win the starting job is the one he should stick with. It shouldn't be whomever has the best week in practice. Stick with the starter through the whole season unless there is an unbelievable meltdown. That's the only way the offense will build stability and become better.
