It's weird to me that Mich St. doesn't seem to get brought up that much by others even though they seem to be in it pretty well. Oh well, one day and we find out what he chooses.
Choose UT!
The only staff that should be in desperation mode right now is Tennessee's. They are the only ones who can't afford to miss if they want to have a decent basketball team. Get mad, flame, do whatever you want. That's the truth.
Talk about desperation mode. Your triumphant return to the basketball forum coincidentally coincides with our now "must-get" 5* player to salvage the program.
Convenient. You have been totally absent throughout all the positive talk of the incoming freshman and upcoming season.
I'll take my shot at a projection here. You'll be here for the next week or so to pour piss and vinegar all over us in the wake of losing Looney. You'll then disappear and return following our first loss to remind us all of what a tailspin our team and program are heading towards.
Amirite?

The outlook for this season is pretty positive. But in order to sustain it, the recruiting is going to have to take a major turn for the better.

So, you're not impressed with two 5* players in two seasons? Tough crowd. Also, the outlook of this season being so rosy is predicated on three freshman playing substantial roles. Quite possibly, they are the first three players off the bench. But let's ignore that fact.
What? Zo already has as many 5* recruits as our last coach, and in half the time.
Not only that, Richardson has taken huge steps and will be a senior next year. Thompson and Hubbs will be Sophmores. You have very capable recruits coming in (even without Looney). The team will be fine next year with or without Looney, but adding him takes you to another level.
Stick around, you may learn something.
