2014 SEC Championship Game: #1 Alabama v. #16 Missouri (4:00 PM, CBS)

This is probably around the area of the game they still would have needed to had Ray and Hoch. (Bama's running everything to the freshman's side now aren't they?)

That said, though, if you're going to throw around flagrants like that, you don't deserve to be playing out there on the field.

I'm not saying who was or wasn't better.

I'm saying UGA still lost to two of worse 6 win SEC teams in the conference in games they couldn't afford to lose (and one of them didn't even have to pass the ball to do it.)

The reality here was Bama was going to stomp whoever showed up in ATL this year. The difference in East teams would have just been the difference in Bama being up 21-3 at half and being up 28-7 at half.

Your probably right. I still think GA would have made it more of a game even though Mizzou seems to be hanging around. Something about them getting to the SECCG for the second year in a row rubs me the wrong way after watching how things unfolded for them this season.

Interesting to see how they respond to that Bama TD.

3 and out.

It's amazing how they roll their mobile out, and allow him to throw short and intermediate routes to keep Missouri from blitzing non stop. Somehow our OC can't figure it out.

Mizzou certainly came into the SEC at the perfect time. South Carolina and Florida both went from very good to horrible almost at the perfect time for them to capitalize. Its almost like two SEC east powers fall to mediocrity coincided with their arrival.

I wish Alabama would discontinue their football program. I hated seeing them luck out game after game this year. Go away already. Yeah, I just ****ing hate Bama.

The thing is though, while UGA's better at running the ball, Bama's strongest point is their ability to stop the run; you have to beat them passing the ball. And unfortunately for UGA, one of the reasons they run the ball so much is to avoid passing it...because they're not too great at it (and they're aware of it...which is why UF forced them into having to play that way this year).

And save about 2 games, UGA's defense really is not that good; they've repeatedly had issues with making their opponent's offense look much better than it actually is. Even if UGA were able to score more than once in that first half, it would pretty much be balanced out by the scores their defense would allow.

Your o-line still has to be able to somewhat effectively block to do that.

I hate Bama, but I always pull for the SEC team in bowl games.

Honestly, I'm only here to watch Double-D explain how Mizzou wins this game.

If you hate Bama how on earth can you justify rooting for them in a bowl game? Hopefully you don't root for them in the Playoff.
