What is the point of warming up Kershaw if you're not going to bring him in against Harper? Hanson's got nothing left.

Great use of Jansen tho

I liked bring him in early, absolutely, but once he's up at 40 pitches you've got to be looking to get him out of there. You warm Kershaw up (assuming you're willing to use him), use Jansen to try to get the righty, and then bring Kershaw in to face Harper. Easy. You can't leave Jansen out there on fumes to walk two guys.

Apparently Dusty's got something like a 9 game personal losing streak in playoff games when his team had a chance to clinch. That's gotta hurt.

Yup.

Dusty Baker has now lost 9 straight games with a chance to clinch a playoff round.

That's the longest streak in MLB history.

Clayton Kershaw's first career save. He had one in the Minors, in 2006, against the Gulf Coast Nationals. With Kenley Jansen as his catcher.

Yep, dating back to the 2003 NLCS.

Lost Games 5,6 and 7 there. Then in 2010 with the Reds they were up 2-0 over the Giants and lost Games 3,4, and 5. Then lost the 2013 WC Game to the Pirates. And now lost Games 4 and 5 of the NLDS.

2003 NLDS Game 5 is the last clinch game he won.
