I dont think Ole Miss really cares about football that much.
They let a guy go after only 3 seasons that lived for Ole Miss Football AND after he helped ( when no one else would) weather the crapstorm they had in The Grove. He took over a program and actually was making progress with the guys he was bringing in. Was he ever gonna be Saban, Urban, or Dabo; unlikely but he would have been a good middle of the road guy IMO. If they aren't gonna be serious about contending for the West/ SEC titles then this would be really puzzling. I think the issue with Moore in the Piss and Miss game might have been the final straw re player discipline for the AD/ ADMIN there. I guess we will see how seriously they care when we see who they wind up hiring.

Looks like the kid out of Lake Travis has a lot of promise.
Yes...he does. Charlie Brewer needs to go home and spend some time with him and ask him when the last time was that Texas developed a QB. Tell him that Baylor has developed QBs to their full potential since the beginning of the Art Briles Era.

Holy crap, Schiano gets $32 million????

In my next life I am coming back as either an airport contractor or a mediocre football coach.

I still don't understand why the Rutgers job is so lucrative. It makes zero sense to me. I guess thats why I'm not an Athletic Director somewhere.

Because they fully believe he can get them to where they were his first time there. His agent sold them on it and they bought it. Sad sad day for Rutgers football

Not a HC job but sounds like Northwestern is about to hire Mike Bajakian as their OC, most recently OC at Boston College. I had no idea he was even back coaching in college, seemed like an interesting bit of info.

In his intro PC Jeff thanked Coach Rhule for helping him prep for his interview. Said Rhule spent 3 hours helping him get ready for it. Jeff also said that Coach Rhule has embraced the Texas HS Coaches and that he's pulling for Rhule and Joey (McGuire) at BU.
