That game was a great example of why the NCAAT is fun to watch... and also why it’s not good at determining the best team at all. One hot/cold streak or hot/cold player can change the entire tournament. You might beat a team 95 times out of 100, but if today is part of that 5%, you go home whether you’re the better team or not.

Credit to Burns for the way he shot. Credit to the Vols for winning anyway.

We got tight during that run by Colgate. Have to remember we lost first round last year. Think our players had that in their heads. Hats off to COACH FREAKING BARNES for that TO. We came out shut down that run. Made 4 Tos in 2 minutes and went on a run ourselves. We got the lead and never looked back.

We beat Wright state in the first round last year.

The blueprint is there for teams to beat us. We have to be able to shoot the 3 ball

We have to answer or we are dead. I bet you Iowa will do the every same thing Sunday. I would cause its the only way Iowa will beat us. Sink the D deep around Williams and make Turner, Bone, Schofield and Bowden beat you from the three. I just hope we don't buy into that we have to settle for 3's all the time. Drive and dish. Draw fouls. Don't let them dictate or get us out of our game.

Admiral getting hot is going to be big for us rest of the way I think. That's a great first game, a team that we should crush not respecting us and forcing us to play hard ball.

Grant will get fed against Iowa, Admiral will be dialed in for the last run of his college career and Bowden/Turner are both playing great at the right time of year. I very seriously doubt any other team we face will shooting 51.7% from the 3 on 29 shots...that was insane.

Hope they enjoy watching us play on Sunday!

I agree BGS - B10 looks slow to me as well. Grinder/pounder style.
