It’s incredibly good. Might be one of the best in the country. Turino and Spence are expected to come in and start. Fastest way to rebuild a program is going this route. Think about where we would have been without Soularie and Martinez.

Soularie’s bat and Ricky’s defense were huge. It had been a minute since we had a real SS.

I’ll add this on Rackers from the intel I had, him not getting drafted is due to the high asking price he was asking for that I mentioned earlier in the year. Similar situation with Ashby last year had he gone without getting drafted in that 3rd round he probably goes undrated and would have been a Vol. Rackers has a big time arm like 95-97 big time. Coach A is going to have to tweak some things but with him and Chad Dallas it could be a really explosive staff next year. All and all a very lucky day for the Vols unlike last year.

A Vandy note today and the shock of the draft for me so far. Clarke was drafted in the 9th round and that means he’s about to shatter the $ ever gotten for a 9th rounder in this draft format.

You just never know till it’s all said and done. Heck HS kids even sometime choose to go juco so they can get drafted right away. It’s such as a crapshoot but I’d say it was a successful day. If I hear anything worth noting I’ll post it. Fingers crossed for sure.
