Self inflicted wounds by folks in Orange is tough to deal with.... hopefully we can hold on to some of these guys to sign later, or if necessary backfill loses with transfers.

It really is kind of amazing with the "Fire Pruitt" voices becoming louder and louder, that we are still pulling in some really nice recruits. I can only assume it is because they see the potential to get UT back to where it belongs no matter who the Head Coach is. FTR, I don't see JP going anywhere regardless of what the result is against aTm, but it is good to see quality recruits picking UT in spite of the uncertainty of the coaching staff, assuming that even with JP as HBC, there will be some changes. Hopefully these guys, last years guys, and us guys, will get to experience a full and rowdy Neyland come next Fall.

Some nice recruits. That's a bit of a concern when we are falling further behind UGA and UF in the east. What are we....6th in the SEC? If the guy could develop players, it might provide a bit more hope an optimism.

Negavols absolutely tarnish the prospect of coming to UT! The sad thing is, few if any of them know enough about football to be voicing their opinions so strongly about what needs to be done. Pruitt, being a first time HC, was destined to make mistakes along the way. But his knowledge of defense and recruiting prowess has and will pay off. The next two seasons will be make or break for him. I hope he gets the opportunity!

Thank you, Freak for providing this list. Honestly, I am very impressed with who all has signed in the early period. I've been critical of Pruitt but I'll be first to give credit when due. Job well done by Pruitt & staff getting some of these key players in (actually, everyone who has signed in the early period are excellent additions)!

Can he get the questionable or expected to sign early players back in the boat...I sure hope so and am pulling for him to do so! A very big part of our problem this year (poor QB play) is behind us. Nothing personal against JG, the kid's a warrior. That being said, Kaidon Salter looks special and could be a program changer. Regardless, I think HB or JT could be equally as good. I did not expect this many quality recruits to sign in the early period therefore I'm moving away from fire Pruitt to keep him. Yes, I may regret this but I'm sick and tired of the merry go round with our coaches. Let's enjoy the game Saturday and look to the future. I think we see a lot better QB play next year.

What I hope Pruitt has learned from this year is he NEEDS OFFENSE OFFENSE OFFENSE to win in the SEC now. Be agressive Pruit, my goodness what do you have to lose at this point! Also, improve on stopping the slant!

Amazing what a little bit of good news will do for morale. These early signees are good news!!! If they're sticking with Pruitt so am I.
