2020 Presidential Race

The funny thing is that Jimmy Carter caused most of it. Carter won 10 of the 11 states of the Confederacy ( all except Virginia) in 1976. When 1980 rolled around, he won only 1 of 11 (his home state of Georgia). I've got it figured out finally. Jimmy Carter made us all racists in the late 1970's.

Dear lord , Luther will stoke out when he reads this . 😂

Not really. What she did(as far as we can see) is walk around UT on a gameday as a Bama reporter. That doesnt mean Tennessee fans can throw beer at her. She didnt yell a single obscenity while things were being thrown. Your example is intentional hyperbole in an attempt to validate the students reaction even if by a small amount.
Why was she there? What was she attempting to do? What has she done previously? Don't be so naive as to think all of those are not important and contributing factors.
My game day analogy is perfect because she knew exactly what she was doing; intentionally agitating in the hopes of getting some reaction she could plaster on social media and have morons discuss the morons.

No way in hades those Bernie bro’s are voting for Bloomberg , the apex example of all things they hate .

I tried to tell him Persian , I don’t think Luther has been around many Bernie bro’s . They ( you guys ) are a very dedicated bunch .

For what it’s worth there were more Hillary supporters in 2008 that voted McCain over Obama than Bernie supporters who voted Trump, despite the false narrative you see in the MSM. Bernie voters will vote for most people over Trump. Unless that’s Bloomberg. You are right. Bloomberg is probably the only candidate where leftists might actually stay at home. Even I don’t know for sure yet if I could support a Bloomberg presidency. The only people who truly are excited for a Bloomberg presidency are pundits on tv who have trump derangement syndrome. He would be a disaster against Trump. But for a lot of those people, they’d rather have Bloomberg lose to trump than see Bernie Sanders as their next president.

No stroke. But I do admit 1980 was one of my top 5 epiphanies.
Carter lost the south largely because the racial tensions of the 70's moved many from the democratic party to the republican party.

I would imagine I was around far more Bernie supporters in 2016 and now than most of you. Of the many I know, not a single one will sit out the election if Bernie is not the nominee.
I also know that the many never-Bernies would ever even dream of voting for him. For every Bernie bro that would sit out the election, there are two never-Bernies that very well may vote for the alternative.

You can get away with that “ many “ I guess . But I’ve seen where it’s been talked about as a wholesale departure from the left to the right and that just isn’t true . At least not in northern Mississippi and west Tennessee.

The actions are pathetic and they are the exact actions the girl was trying to elicit.
Furthering the divide and the us vs. them mentality.
A better reaction would be to just turn their backs and stand silently; or just walk away from wherever she is.
Sounds like victim blaming. "She asked for it."

'Yes, Donald, I do love you': New video shows Mike Bloomberg praising Trump as former mayor's past comments come back to haunt his presidential campaign

New video has surfaced of Mike Bloomberg explaining the time he told Donald Trump he loves him as the former New York City mayor continues to face scrutiny for his past friendship with the president.

Bloomberg was engaging in a conversation with a crowd at the University of Oxford's Saïd Business School as part of the Distinguished Speaker Series in December 2016 – almost a month to the day after Trump was elected.

He noted his previous close relationship to the then-president-elect and even mentioned that he once told Trump, 'Yes, Donald, I do love you.'

The billionaire explained that the interaction happened after Trump made remarks at a September 11 memorial service.

'I saw your speech in Philadelphia,' Trump told Bloomberg at the time, which appeared to be a reference to the mayor's speech at the Democratic National Convention that took aim at his fellow billionaire.

'But you really do love me, don't ya?' Trump asked, according to Bloomberg's iteration of the interaction. 'And I said, 'Yes, Donald, I do love you, I just disagree with everything you've ever said.''

'And we had a good laugh,' Bloomberg continued in the light-hearted retelling.

'If you've sat and had dinner with Donald Trump, you'd probably walk away saying everything he just said is ********, he can't be doing that. But you have a good time,' he conceded. 'He is socially a nice person. Will he be a good president? I hope so. Because we desperately need leadership in the country and the world.'

Bloomberg has faced widespread criticism for his past interactions with Trump – a fellow New Yorker – especially has he has risen in the polls and qualified for the debate stage Wednesday for the first time since entering the presidential race in November.

This week, a photo of Bloomberg and Trump looking friendly playing golf together circulated social media after Vermont Senator Bernie Sanders posted it on Twitter Tuesday.

Bloomberg also once said, 'I'm a friend of Donald Trump's. He is a New York icon,' and that clip is making the rounds in the news.

In a campaign email on President's Day Monday, Bloomberg lauded 'HAPPY PRESIDENTS DAY, DONALD TRUMP!'

You are hoping those numbers “of very well may “ hold true .

Mike Bloomberg will SELL his $60 billion company if he beats Donald Trump but won't put it into a blind trust before the election – as billionaire prepares to participate in his first Democratic primary debate

Billionaire Mike Bloomberg will sell his multi-billion media company in the event he succeeds in his audacious plan to capture the Democratic nomination and beat President Trump, his campaign revealed.

I said their actions were pathetic didn't I?
How pathetic is it to go somewhere to intentionally elicit pathetic reactions so you can show your pathetic followers how pathetic the divide has become under our pathetic president?

Like I said, they should just turn their backs and stand silently, or walk away from her like she is ground zero for the corona virus.

So you're against all of those Dem protests? Or are they the only ones allowed to express opinions?
