2020 Presidential Race

There's a whole basket of them even!
half a basket at least, no you are right there are the deplorable basket and the other basket.... in case you are one of those types that makes lists & weaves baskets. Or you could be the type that doesn't make lists or weaves baskets IDK.

You are absolutely right. That’s exactly why we need/have to open up. Thank you.
I agree. I guess my point was not to seem giddy over such a hard time for our country (which has also directly impacted me), but to point out that Trump has been eager to take credit for the economy when it was booming, even though his policies had little to do with it... but now that the economy has been hit by a runaway freight train, the president is suddenly not responsible for it? Okay.

I'm not enthusiastic over anything. I just went 4 weeks without working. This is my first week back. I'm 46 years old and had to borrow money from my 78 year old retired dad to get by last month. It's been a humbling experience for a lot of us.

That's not how the post of the jobs numbers from you earlier portrayed it.

I’m sorry to hear that BB. We jab at each other on here but we’re UT fam. I hope you’re able to get back on your feet quickly.

If you get down, go look at that 2021 recruiting haul again. 😎

Glad you have been able to return. And hope your company’s opening goes well and everyone stays healthy.

Some of us have been hit harder than others and good that you were only furloughed for 4 weeks. Tough for the many millions who have no job to go back to. A deep ditch for the country to dig out of and it won’t happen as fast as certain politicians would have us believe, but they have to try and keep up the morale and their chances in the next election. Curious as to whether you were able to collect any unemployment?

We will see who is getting their nuts kicked tomorrow when that April jobs report hits. The numbers will be gruesome... unlike literally any month in U.S. history.

14.7% unemployment and 20.5 million jobs lost. Is this the kick in the nuts you were looking for?
