I think enough would have listened and called for their leaders to follow fed recommendations. His reaction (or lack of real action) helped reinforce the panic. A leader could have helped guide everyone out early yet he chose not to

Would it have worked better than the current path? I have to believe it would have

Maybe I don't, maybe you don't, but it seems that a lot of people do and it can have an effect on public sentiment. I do recall the death counts during the Vietnam War and how it had its effect on public sentiment, different situation, I know, but still . . .

Sadly I won't argue with that last point, but I do want to add that racism comes in many forms. It's like a chameleon. It is not owned by a party, a race or ethnicity, it is sometimes misunderstood and unknown. Let me be clear though, making or wanting people to follow the laws of the land is not racism. Maybe sometimes interpreting it could be.

I know how that sounded yesterday but this is a disaster... and not all of these jobs are coming back, in spite of what Trump says. First Horizon is eliminating a consumer lending processing department. That means about 20 people I know pretty well, mostly underwriters, are gone. It's heartbreaking.

On top of that, about 33% of our unsecured credit card customer accounts are in arrears. There is no way to sell anything now.

I’m anxiously awaiting to hear Biden and the democrats’ plan to fix the mess caused by Covid19 and the overreaction to it.

Has Trump diagrammed a strategy for renewal, or did he just spend 15 minutes on Fox & Friends this morning talking about the FBI and Michael Flynn, without mentioning a single word about the 20 million Americans who were put out of work last month? It was the latter.

Btfo dude Michael Flynn just spent 3 f....ing years on the short end of the pile of 💩 the FBI has become because he didn't support a Democrat. So 15 minutes would have been great back in 2017.

But we get it you don't want to hear how f.ing wrong you have been for over 3 years. This is just starting to get good. And the fact that this is an election year means whatever we are going to see is coming out this year. Yesterday for the first time President Obamas name was mentioned. Has any incumbent president since World War II won reelection with an unemployment rate over 14%? No, but since we haven't had an unemployment rate that high since 1940, it's kind of untested.
