Why give a definite answer when so many things have to happen before the court is actually "packed"

And even if seats are added, it's not clear that the Dems would add enough to obtain a majority or just get back to a more balanced court--which most Americans want.

Greta Thunberg, the 17-year-old Swedish climate change activist, has endorsed Joe Biden’s bid for the White House, breaking with her long-standing rule of avoiding party politics.

In a tweet Saturday, Thunberg said that the November 3 election is “above and beyond all that,” and is urging people to “get organized” and vote for Biden, even though she acknowledged that many of her followers backed other candidates.

“I never engage in party politics,” she wrote. “But the upcoming US elections is above and beyond all that. From a climate perspective it’s very far from enough and many of you of course supported other candidates. But, I mean…you know…damn! Just get organized and get everyone to vote #Biden.”

Former ESPN host Keith Olbermann lashed out at Trump supporters Friday night, calling for the prosecution and conviction of all those connected with the president.

Mr. Olbermann called Trump supporters “maggots,” the new insult du jour to replace 2016’s “deplorables” in the 2020 presidential election.

“So, let us brace ourselves,” he continued. “The task is twofold: the terrorist Trump must be defeated, must be destroyed, must be devoured at the ballot box, and he and his enablers and his supporters and his collaborators and the Mike Lees and the William Barrs and the Sean Hannitys and the Mike Pences and the Rudy Giulianis and the Kyle Rittenhouses and the Amy Coney Barretts must be prosecuted and convicted and removed from our society while we try to rebuild it and to rebuild the world Trump has nearly destroyed by turning it over to a virus.”

Wisconsin

Trump must win at least one of these, in order to win the election. Biden is currently showing a lead outside the margin of error in all of them.

What about the the "winner" in the 2016 polling fiasco, the Democracy Institute, and its Latest Poll for September:
  • Only asks likely voters, and asks about so-called ‘shy votes’.
  • Trump leads Biden 46%-45%, nationally.
  • Trump leads in swing states (FL, IA, MI, MN, PA, WI) 47% to 43%.
  • Trump’s swing state leads would give him 320 electoral votes, and Biden 218.
  • 77% of Trump voters would not admit to friends and family.
  • Amy Coney Barrett nomination has little impact on approximately 8 in 10 voters.
  • Law and order is top issue (32%). Economy is second (30%).
  • Voters trust Trump more on economy than Biden: 60% to 40%, respectively

This is an official statement from FiveThirtyEight following an analysis of "The Democracy Institute" and their data:

"While the Democracy Institute has been on our radar since their previous polls with the Sunday Express, we aren't including any of their polls as we have reasonable cause to believe that they're a fake pollster and are fabricating their data. As our pollster ratings are only updated after each election cycle (general elections and presidential primaries), they won't necessarily reflect the exclusion of any pollsters we suspect to be fake which weren't previously in our database, e.g. the Progress Campaign, until they are updated in the future."

Pollsters are frequently just marketeers in disguise; they generally have an agenda, and fish for the right answers.
