2020 Presidential Race

Not sure if I like riots, but my friends and I went to a lot of David Allen Coe shows in the early 90s at very shady venues around the South. I think I was the only one who never got stitches, though I have a scar from being hit with a broken beer bottle I'm pretty proud of.

So....that was you, huh? Well, I'm pretty proud too, then.

I can’t get past the irony or think of a more fitting job for a socialist to have the title of “Secretary of Labor “ in a party trying to become more radicalized socialists . Maybe if he gets it we can change the job title to “Minister of Labor and propaganda “. 😂

Kommisar Bern.

Hell of a shot! Pretty expert the way you waited until DAC had just finished the line "I was drunk the day my mama got out of prison!" Not your first Coe show, clearly.

I will also say people now think the movie Roadhouse is a complete exaggeration of Southern rural nightlife of a certain period. By modern journalistic standards, it is damn near a documentary. Never saw anyone get their throat Swayze-d out though.

Nikki Haley will likely pick Rubio as her VP in 4 years. A great pick, but she is going to destroy him in the primaries and no one will argue that her pick was motivated by racial politics even if she says she is motivated to pick a latino running mate.

If Nikki Haley wins in the primary then she will have earned it just like candidates have throughout our history. There will be no affirmative action component here. But if we're talking hypotheticals, I'd say Ron DeSantis will win the primaries and Nikki will be his running mate

True... but it certainly helps when you are the son of a United States Senator. That was also of no small assistance in getting into the National Guard during the Vietnam War, while there was a waiting list. It's interesting that George W. Bush was rejected by the University of Texas College of Law, but was accepted into the MBA program at Harvard.

Duh, Harvard is all about prestige and endowments. Good ole boy kind of thing that plunks grads into exalted realms so they can chunk more money in and keep up the façade.

Education isn't nearly about how much as what kind. As far as "intelligence", I'll take a guy who instinctively knows how to handle a situation over a guy who writes books about proposed methods any day.
Sure, but Trump scores close to zero on both.
