Young people and old people are thinking about two entirely political systems when they hear the word "socialism."This is not good for the future of America
Millennials, Gen Z increasingly comfortable with socialism, Marxism, activists say
Yeah... so is a smooth transition of power from one party to the other. A lot of democratic traditions are about to be trampled by Trump. I doubt he even attends Biden's inauguration.
This will become apparent to most soon, but the only way to save the GOP is to anesthetize it at the ballot box and cut out the Trump. A lot of Lincoln Project types will come home if that happens. If it doesn't happen, the patient will fall into a politically induced coma for a generation as the maps get bluer and bluer, reversing the Reagan Revolution. To be clear, in the unlikely case that any Trump supporter here reads this far into the post, I think that is bad.
The other question that leaves: can such a broad coalition find consensus and govern? Or would that situation birth a third party that cannibalizes the dying GOP?
Oh so they spend time trying to get the other side to vote? Seems a bit counter productive doesn't it?Registration and awareness are not telling people who to vote for or them influencing who you vote for. Lmao
90 minutes? She needs to find a different polling station..... I was second in line.I saw a woman at early voting yesterday near the back of the line wearing a shirt with a middle finger on it and then Trump underneath. It warmed my heart to think that she was going to sit in line for 90 minutes only to find out at the front door she couldn't vote with that shirt on.
Paging @evillawyer remember your post earlier that I responded to showing you were clueless in your speculation on early voting turnout in Texas? Womp wompYes they have. Now STFU.

This country is great because of our Constitution. It isn't about feels or the whims of our politicians at a particular time. It is hard to change for a reason. At some point we also need to stop blaming all the problems in our institutions on Trump/Obama/Bush/Clinton and realize our version of democracy was very shoddily constructed.
It is like a gigantic, poorly written code set where there are obvious changes that need to be made, but if you do touch any part of it you run into all sorts of exceptions in the code that stop you from compiling the fixes.
Journalism is dead. The media are just partisan hacks for the democrats now. They literally campaign for the left. That’s all they doPoliticians come and go. The biggest long term loss in this election is the press/media. A free and accurate press is essential to the long term success of a democracy and the accurate/non-bias portion is D.O.A.
