We learned this year protests on highways which impede or stop traffic are valid and supercede the motoring public. It's a shame Biden's bus got caught up in a protest.

I believe NC, Wisconsin, Iowa, and Michigan are among the states that don't allow them. California is one of the states that do allow them. There is only one Election Day by the way.

my point on it being a misnomer is that since the advent of early in person voting; votes can be cast on days other than election day.

Election day signifies the end; not the beginning of voting and the transition to counting and declaring a winner.

Here's some answers on the question. In my view, the votes should count if they were cast within the window. As you can see in this write up; the issue is knowing whether or not someone died. Also, early voting makes this more problematic since the vote is anonymous. All that is known is that someone voted; not who they voted for.

And Trump is losing bigly with the Women vote, kind of a big demographic.
