2020 Presidential Race

It is for each number's range, so a 5% chance each number is out of range on the day the poll is released. That chance could rise every day poll ages if people are changing their minds at the last minute.

Polls should probably just give their ranges instead of their median, but they would also get less press coverage for doing that.

How they handle undecides or build their voters databases can be wild too. One pollster famously won't include you in their sample if you didn't vote in a prior election, even if you attest you have already voted in the current election. Nuts!
Which one?

I'm interested to see opinions on this story:

First, there is no information available on who this woman voted for. Per CNN, a 20 year old woman in Wisconsin named Amber Pflughoeft, cast her vote for President of the United States before dying from bone cancer last Monday. The state of Wisconsin will now throw out her ballot. I'm not sure how I feel about that myself... just interested in whether or not anyone believes that her vote should count.

If she did indeed personally cast her vote then I think it absolutely should count.

She cast her vote within the allocated voting window it should stand.

What if you vote on Tuesday and die in a car wreck on the way home.

All votes cast during the voting window rules for each state should count. I don’t care who they voted for.

Joe biden is not virtuous at all..... can a case be made that trump is worse? Sure, but it’s definitely not a reason to vote for either one of them.
You’re obviously very partisan about it, and maybe so am I... but go back to the interview Lindsay Graham did in the back of a car talking about Joe Biden as a person. Someone from the opposite side of the isle who has known him for a long time. Then, go find something similar where someone speaks that glowingly of Trump, especially a political opponent. You can’t. That’s what I’m talking about and that’s what millions of other Americans see as well.

So, it's official then! Polls are no longer just "fake news". Thanks, Kayleigh!

I guess the polling aggregates on both Real Clear Politics and FiveThirtyEight which show Joe Biden leading in Pennsylvania, Wisconsin, Michigan and Minnesota are just as "official"? Right? LOL! What a dingbat.
Well it’s apparent you no longer like THIS particular poll 😂

At least it’s directly relevant to a direct election instead of dumbass local popular polls extrapolated to the national level without EC weighting.

It should count. She voted in the election following the rules. I'm sure people die on election day after they've voted and I've never heard anyone say those votes should be tossed.

Since the official day is Nov. 3rd, should a vote count if the person is dead prior to Nov. 3rd?

😂 😂 😂

Are you freeking serious? You think Biden would do something like that? Come on man.
Yes. If you don’t think so, you’re blinded by partisanship. You really want to compare testimonials on virtuous behavior between Biden and Trump? I don’t think so.

Vote should be counted and I don't care who for.

The problem with this comparison is that Biden and Graham worked together for decades. No one in Congress has worked with Trump over a time period like that. I'm sure there are people who've done business with Trump for decades that could do so even if voting for Biden but no one is out there interviewing them.

So, Biden is a closet homosexual, too?

That’s all you got from all that? I’m being genuine, can you say the same? You can’t blur the virtue line between Biden and Trump, it’s too far apart and people can tell that for themselves with their own eyes and ears. They don’t need propaganda from either side to perceive what most everyone else does.

The state of Wisconsin doesn't think so. It's not a clear cut answer between right and wrong. I'm not sure how I feel about it myself. I tend to favor letting the vote stand... but I understand the argument against it.
