Why don't we just have 2 presidents? The people that voted for Trump lives with his policies and the people that vote Biden lives with his.Regardless, in such a polarized election with such nail-biting close results, you would think the winner(s) would head to Washington with some kind of spirit of compromise. Maybe realizing that they now represent their entire electorate, instead of just those who voted for them. Maybe govern and legislate further toward the center from both sides to reflect the nearly 50/50 nature of the votes.
But unfortunately, it won’t. The tighter the races, the more polarizing they’ll become. They have to be, so they can pull more of those centrists towards their side and be re elected.
Yeah, those days are long gone. Neither side wants to compromise or work with the other side. The saving grace will be split control of Congress. Dems have the House, GOP should keep the Senate, hopefully that'll keep some kind of balance.Regardless, in such a polarized election with such nail-biting close results, you would think the winner(s) would head to Washington with some kind of spirit of compromise. An election this tight will be looked at as illegitimate by whichever side is deemed the loser. More strife and division. Wash, rinse and repeat.Regardless, in such a polarized election with such nail-biting close results, you would think the winner(s) would head to Washington with some kind of spirit of compromise. Well, if Biden wins, I expect impeachment over Ukraine to start day 1.Yeah, those days are long gone. Neither side wants to compromise or work with the other side. That’s not a sure thing though, either. Both Georgia elections may be going to a special election (which there will be mail in and fraud). Michigan could still go to Dems as well.Yeah, those days are long gone. Neither side wants to compromise or work with the other side. The saving grace will be split control of Congress.
