I think this election was the last shot the republicans had to win a presidential election. I see the party surviving mostly as a local party.I expect the next election cycle to trend very much as it has since Clinton. If Biden wins, Republicans will get energized, especially if Biden is replaced due to cognitive decline and Kamala is installed, and show up in droves in two years to reclaim the House and expand a Senate lead. Likewise for the Dems if Trump holds on. We’ve seen it play out this way for the past 30 years that I’ve been paying attention to politics.
I am for court packing. I think more trials on ubi are needed. No way that should be rolled out on a national basis without more data on how it works in the real world. I think finland's trials had mixed results. So you are in favor of packing the court with 16 justices? Also whats your stance on universal income?
Hey dufuss, I was agreeing with you.And this is why no discussion goes anywhere. Nothing in the post I quoted mentioned the Dem plans yet every response to my post is "but the dems" as if that makes it right.
Both teams are wrong
So you are for hard working people losing income through taxes to provide universal income for everyone?I am for court packing. I think more trials on ubi are needed. No way that should be rolled out on a national basis without more data on how it works in the real world. I think finland's trials had mixed results.
