The "math" behind claims we don't have the labor force to run our country without illegal immigrants is dubious at best.

The immigration policies of this country are ridiculous.
The “illegals” That work are way different than the “illegals” that come to get free ****. We need to reform immigration and start differentiation between the 2. But typically the “illegals” that work out preform the citizens and it’s not because they work cheaper. They make a fair wage but do a better job for the most part

I see them surviving as a regional party and the permanent minority party in the federal government. But I don’t see the US surviving as a whole more than another 75-100 years.

paging @evillawyer , isn't universal income the same as the current welfare system which is meant to keep people in poverty vs. helping them out of poverty? And in return by raising taxes to pay for universal income don't you put more people into poverty and make them rely on the Government for everything?

This part is true. Can we do that tomorrow Dems can go screw up the west coast and the good guys can keep the east coast. Eveyone wins.
But for real eventually we will fight a war on American soil imo. I dont think we are ready to win one when it does happen.

He has a great chance. The worry a lot of us have is around these mail in ballots and states not counting til tomorrow, or next week, or next decade.

I’ll actually defend UBI in this regard. It’s better than welfare because it doesn’t disincentivize work. You still get the money no matter how much you work or earn.

The issue is the next guy will get elected by promising more and more money.
