I'm for universal health care but not for universal income because where is the money going to come from? Essentially you're taking more money from me to give it to someone else. So lets say you tax me $200 every pay check to provide universal income (800 a month) but you only give me back 400 a month how is that going to sit?

1. Provide health care for everyone paying income tax...
2. If you're unable to work you must provide evidence from a DR or be over the age of 60
3. Do away with welfare benefits for leaches
4. Fix the EBT system, get away from the debit cards and go back to actual food stamps

It appears the Rs will hold the Senate when the map didn't look good for them, I haven't looked at the mid term Senate races but they usually go better for the party not in the WH. Even if the socialists win this round for the WH is will be full gridlock for at least 2 years but I would guess gridlock for 4 years

How do you control my issue with it? My fear being that the key to election will be promising more than the other guy. We already have a massive deficit. I think we’d see hyper inflation within 2-3 election cycles if ubi were implemented

I don't think you can control it. As the only system is a huge improvement to what we have now. However you would need to eliminate so much to implement it and we know that's so unlikely. I think it could be done in pieces but politicians would break that quickly if they saw any advantage to be gained
