An administration built the fracking industry? Obama built private enterprise?Well, I only got my Master's in Economics, but I certainly defer to your expertise.
At any rate, you might wanna take a look-see at which administration actually built the fracking industry.
Refresh my memory, but I'm thinking that Obama guy was still in office 2012-16...

I think the major issue is that people are forming opinions on the results of this election before they are actually in.It's not about liking Trump or Biden. It's about destroying the election process.
One candidate has said from the get go that all votes should be counted and that he'll accept the results of the election no matter the outcome.
The other has said the process is rigged, corrupt, tried to stop people from voting that would likely vote against him, said all votes in some states should be counted while votes in other states shouldn't be counted, and is now filing lawsuits and spreading misinformation.
And you don't think there will be deficit spending by a Biden/Harris Administration. And you think global climate change will be effected when there are zero restrictions on the biggest polluters, China and India. Your paying higher taxes won't change a darn thing except your take home.
There's a difference alright. If you don't get any of this well, that's why your victory dance will be short lived. Enjoy it while you can.

yep the lead is to big right now
You said it yourself in your original post though - people see it as a good thing from a philosophical perspective. People died for the right to vote, not everybody in the world has a right to vote (or is able to vote in a free and fair election) so it's good to not take it for granted, etc. I assume you disagree, but that's why people see it as a good thing. It really wouldn't matter. Higher voter turnout is a sign more people care about the election... But that is just the nature of where we currently are, I don't see that as a positive or a negative.
It isn't as if average voter awareness or average voter knowledge increases with voter turnout. You can easily make the case that it decreases.
I don't see how anyone can vote for a career politician in good conscience. I had hoped McConnell would be defeated.I tell ya, it’s a different universe out there in SF. Personally, I can’t see how anybody could vote for somebody like Pelosi. Forget Dem or Rep...just her as a person. She has pandering corruptness and disassociation from her constituents written all over her. To say nothing of how stupid she is.
I still say she was probably fun at the party about 1980.I tell ya, it’s a different universe out there in SF. Personally, I can’t see how anybody could vote for somebody like Pelosi.
