How do they check mail in ballots for duplicates or if the person is dead or if a person sends in a ballot and then goes vote in person at the poll. Are their checks in place to stop that.

It actually was. His policies led to prolonged price increases in oil which made fracking profitable. Advancements in drilling and production technology has kept it going.
