I think people don't appreciate exactly how many ballots were cast by mail this year. Add in some states have weird laws where they can't be counted until election day or until polls close, etc...and it becomes a nightmare.

The real frustration should be why it takes so long to count votes that are literally put in a machine after a person fills out a ballot in person. The counts in Nevada, etc...is absurd at this point. No reason there shouldn't be updated results by now.

The fact that someone CAN challenge the results doesn't mean it's "designed" for that to happen when the electoral vote may not even be that close. I don't have a problem with the Hail Mary, but I'm not buying all the ominous innuendo about the SC flipping this vote

If the results are in question, it's designed that the courts make rulings.

No one on the left seems to find it the least bit suspicious that the election was called in key battleground states before midnight in ‘16, securing the election for Trump. Now, ballots are falling from the sky, like skittles from a unicorn’s ass, in these same places.

If Biden does go on to win, I hope nothing gets done. I hope there is gridlock and that federal shutdowns carry on for months. Hell, I’d settle for it for the duration of however long this addled spitwad’s term lasts. If federal employees suffer, good. The only downfall to this approach, GOP Senate seats are in danger in the midterms. At this point, I think I could live with it, if it sent a message and eliminated some sacred cows, even if only for a short while. Millions of American citizens have suffered financially because of a virus with a >99% survivability rate , the feds can likewise hop into that boiling pot. My family has been fortunate and will be fine. Past presidents have not affected me adversely in a financial manner or otherwise, and this misfiring synapse will be no different.
