You have to establish a base line before any debate can truly take place.

My baseline is that people do not have the right to own any weapon of their choice. It's sometimes necessary to go to the extreme to get people to even accept that baseline starting point.

The reason we don’t establish the base line of what we have a right to own is because as soon as you do you are acknowledging that you are willing going to give up a right to restrictions and bans based on others opinions of what they should or should not have . We both know it’s the how you eat an elephant problem .

If Im looking to buy a house in a 200k market and I look at a house with a 350k asking price, Im not wasting my time negotiating it down to 275k because Im not paying that either.

I just went and checked Fulton and Dekalb counties in GA. Nothing looks unusual there to me. Both have about 10K-17K difference in votes between Biden and Ossoff. The other race is a cluster so no need to look at that one. Also, both jurisdictions look like voter participation was in the mid to upper 60s. It seems pretty unlikely anything funky was going on in GA, at least not on a large scale. I think Atlanta has just grown so big that it’s starting to get like IL where one city will decide that state. That’s not good for Reps. They better start putting diversity on the ticket or they won’t like the results.

Two people arrive in prison. They are both told that they can place their soap on a rope to avoid dropping it in the shower. They are told other prisoners who have dropped the soap have been raped. Prisoner 1 keeps his soap on a rope. The other insists that ropes can be used to kill people and the soap can be held with your hand so he gives up his rope and advocates for the ban of all ropes.

The prison is split. No rope side and the rope side. Prisoner 1 is never raped because he doesnt drop the soap.

Prisoner two is raped multiple times because he keeps dropping his soap. That's you.

Having the rope, prevents the soap from being dropped and prevents the open door of tragedy and oppression.

While I completely believe in removing all tax exempt status' from every organization other than charities why should tax exempt churches have any different standards for politics than tax exempt PACs?
