You have to establish a base line before any debate can truly take place.
My baseline is that people do not have the right to own any weapon of their choice. It's sometimes necessary to go to the extreme to get people to even accept that baseline starting point.
The reason we don’t establish the base line of what we have a right to own is because as soon as you do you are acknowledging that you are willing going to give up a right to restrictions and bans based on others opinions of what they should or should not have . We both know it’s the how you eat an elephant problem .
