That's fine to a degree. The truth of the election process is we don't have to actually have it be pristine. We just need the perception it is pristine.

Yeah, but remember the last time around the Russian memes decided an election, and this time the Chinese flu set off a "crisis" that resulted in an untried and unproven process that didn't even have a definitive end date for ballots. Apparently with all our ingenuity and advanced technology - and even a party of science - we can't manage an election without foreign interference. Kinda makes you wonder how backwards countries like Iraq can manage election security with just the purple thumb.

Seems like this discussion might be different if every ballot mailed out was encrypted - whether hidden like a watermark or a strip like in currency, and the person filling in the ballot had to fill in an identifier ... like an SSN, and both security measures are detected by equipment - can't read it or doesn't match voting database - zap too bad. Same SSN comes up multiple times or no security encoding - fraud with no get out of jail free card. Not perfect, but a lot better than nothing - at least a starting point.

I just checked the AP map... and Biden is still projected to finish with 306 electoral college votes per the Associated Press.

What case is the Supreme Court going to rule on, which flips states in Trump's favor? This is so ridiculous. Do you really think Trump is going to be saved by the Supreme Court? Is that what you are hoping for? What world do you people live in?
