It’s most likely an officer who is a veteran of Iraq and Afghanistan and knows that a war with Iran would be far worse and would have 3x as many casualties.

I can’t make heads or tails of it. It seems to “movie-like” for me to believe that Venezuela has been our mortal enemy all along. Why would they wait 18 years to go forward with their operation? Is this the first election to use the Dominion Software? If not, why wasn’t it found out before? Trump spent a lot of energy trying to find fraud and this just dangling there waiting to be found?

Venezuela couldn’t have done anything alone and who’s to say they actually did? All that was needed were the machines and software and internet access.

You seem to think it too ludicrous to consider as a possibility, yet there's an article from 14 years ago talking about the dangers of using it, with 14 year old quotes that seem to confirm a Venezuelan hand in its creation (partial gov't ownership in the company itself), as well as an admission that this is the software they were using--from a Communist regime that HAS NEVER LOST AN ELECTION.

Do you think Trump planted that story 16 years ago? Is that what you're claiming?

As we dig, Powell's claims seem to be finding confirmation. You said earlier that if it was shown that Venezuela had a hand in this software, and that it's what they have been using to rig their elections, it should throw this election out.

That article seems to add confirmation, yet you still don't want to consider it as a possibility. I just find that odd.

I truly don’t have any answers. It’s one of those things that if it’s real, we will know. At this point with nothing else to go on, everything we say is pure conjecture.

I've already answered that. Due to Trump's 2016 executive order and state of emergency per foreign tampering on elections, I can see only two feasible probabilities: either Trump foresaw himself losing the election and used that as a means to claim election fraud in 2020 in an attempt to circumvent a legal election and stay in power (a soft coup), or he'd seen election fraud that he couldn't prove and set up a sting to allow it to happen in 2020, and document it as it happened via Military Intelligence and FISA courts.

As I answered earlier, if it's the former, he and his conspirators need to be fully prosecuted for an attempted coup. If it's the latter, everyone involved needs to hang for treason.

So you’re going with someone who doesn’t like something Trump did leaking information they shouldn’t. I do think that’s likely given that we’ve seen this over and over but this one literally says Trump gathered info and then made a decision not to act. Isn’t that what you want?

Only wanted to post the video, and it was attached to the tweet posted. Essentially highlights the contrast of journalism and opinion on Fox News.

If you don't think the video debunks anything, then please tell what would suffice. I'm thinking most hanging their hopes on this will be clinging to this "conspiracy" for years to come, long after Powell offers her excuse for not following through.
