2020 Presidential Race

What about displaying guns on your front steps when a rowdy crowd is roaming up and down your street? Personally - and this is just me - except for the neighboring houses in the line of fire, I think a 50 cal machine gun would be most appropriate for the situation - a real crowd grabber. If homes have big enough from yards, maybe a M-79 grenade launcher to minimize collateral damage would be a better option.
I'm still more for the mini nukes. Nothing makes a neighborhood safer than the fear of mutually assured destruction.

Well, I haven't jumped yet, but anyway...

Flynn was talking with the Russian Ambassador and (allegedly) it was about Russia not responding to the Obama sanctions that were imposed because of the alleged interference.

Nothing specific was said about lifting them nor did he admit that. His "crime" was lying to the FBI. That's the crux of her case.

Also she is claiming the Judge is impartial in the case. Which he kinda has been.

Yeah, I'll agree with the "allegedly", although I have my doubts that she really wants the evidence to be released as she has claimed she does.

Other than that, unless I'm just imagining it, I believe I've heard her state on one of the Fox shows, that "Flynn did nothing wrong", which helped spark my impulse to pose that question to ND40. It wasn't intended to be conjecture-free, but I'll not pretend I didn't see you in the thread right afterwards thought you might have something to say.

Anyway, good to see ya 'round.

You come across as a very mature person whose vocabulary gives every indication that you're intelligent and well educated. Please post more often. I can't wait to hear more of your insights.
Says the person that is spamming conspiracy theories to the board. Conspiracy theory nuts don't fall too far from the tree.

I think the "he did nothing wrong" was in reference to him speaking to the Russian Ambassador from the start. Basically, the FBI was probing a Logan Act violation when Flynn lied about the contact. That's what they got him on.

Point is, most new Administrations do reach out to foreign governments prior to taking office. Hence the "nothing wrong" statement.

I readily admit that nothing I have posted reflects nearly as well as a post that relies on the phrase "wet dream" to communicate its intellectual superiority. As I said, you are proving yourself to be an intellectual giant among us, and as such, I'm sure we are all leaning into our monitors with bated breath, just hoping for the next post.

I thank you in advance.

They pressed Flynn on the Logan Act. Look it up on how many times it’s been used as well as its debateable constitutionality. They are trying to convict him on a process crime because even they knew their premise was BS

OK, clown. Apparently your reading comprehension don't work too good.

"Doesn't" would be the appropriate word for a singular comprehension. I am sure ND40 is beside himself with joy that someone of your obvious maturity level and intellectual firepower would compliment him with reference to his multiple reading comprehensions.

I'll tell you. Someone of such intellect, AND GRACE is a breath of fresh air around here.

Again, please post more.

what's intelect?

Dems can't help but attack... Trump was being a sore loser well before the election. But OK, I guess pointing out that Trump's legal challenges are falling flatter than flat is just being insensitive to those believing Biden stole the election.
Who cares about sensitivity? Trump wasn’t being a sore loser before the election because he hadn’t lost. He officially still hasn’t although it certainly looks like he will. The only thing that will stop it from happening is proof of some pretty major fraud. Trump’s team says they have it so it’s up to them to prove it. The problem is that people on the right are clinging to every story as evidence whether true or not and pushing false stories about does nothing but hurt credibility. The issue on the left is they’re claiming victory before the process is finished. Let’s be real though. Reverse the situation and each side would reverse positions.

That all sounds plausible, not that I necessarily buy into it. I don't think Flynn is runs any risk of doing jail time, regardless. Seems more like dragging it out, so Trump doesn't have to commute/pardon, at least until the 11th hour.

As far as the legality of the communications, I'd say it really depends on what transpired. But, that guilty plea, makes him look kinda guilty of at least lying about it.

The truth might come to light, yet, though.

I have absolutely no problem with that and do not view it as any type of 2a violation or infringement.

So the constitution says "the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed." But you are OK with a locally elected sheriff saying you may or may not in direct violation of that constitutional right?

Yep. The same as I'm okay with the Whitehouse, courthouse, or ballpark saying you can not enter carrying a weapon.

He said multiple times that if he lost it would be because it was rigged. Everyone expected him to deny losing and, so far, he has claimed he won and was cheated.

I'm not giving any special consideration to Donald Trump because he wants to throw sand, and I'm not expressing anything more than what I've seen - dubious claims.

And I sure as hell ain't gonna deny anyone their day in court, as if I could, anyway.
