some of these folks, like Newsome for example, seem to enjoy the power they now have. In spite of the fact that lockdowns not only don't work, but are killing more people than this overhyped virus, they continue to lock down their state doing further damage to people and to the economy. While at the same time they are going out to swanky restaurants or going on vacations out of state or even to Mexico with their friends. There doesn't have to be a mass conspiracy, some of these folks are would be dictators it appears. It is clear that the virus was used as a way to attack Trump, it worked, and it will stop being as big of deal after Biden is inaugurated because they do not want him to have a horrible economy going into 2024. But he will anyway. his policies will bring that.
