2020 Presidential Race

My man, you're projecting. Just because you've openly admitted that you'd be fine with Republicans cheating to win an election doesn't mean that other people are okay with that.
You all do it, we all need to play by the same rules

They've checked the ID and signature twice. Why do they need to do it again? When I vote in person, they check my ID once.
I’m not advocating they do. This was all in relation to a question asked on how a ballot can be matched up with a voter during recounts or audits. I was pointing out that by GA law that’s near impossible once the voter ID is separated from the ballot.

Yep, something fishy went down. Trump crying about fake ballots, way before the election, tells us plenty.

Luckily his fake ballot plan wasn't enough to give him the win.
If PA rules that the mail in ballots was unconstitutional then no one will get the electoral votes and that will set a precedent and other states could follow and then neither Biden or Trump gets to 270 then it goes to the house and Republicans have more states and Trump gets 4 more years the Senate will vote Pence back in and this is the only way. This election is full of fraud and you know it. Dems have no credibility they tried to cheat last election then waisted 3 years trying to impeach the President with no evidence then they let cities burn did not say nothing about it till it was going to cost them in the elections everything they do they try and say someone else done it on the other side I could keep on but I am sure you know all this and don't give a crap.

I was telling people everywhere that Barr wasn't going to do a damn thing. The swamp protects itself regardless of party

Kinda like an Army cadence call

Barr was in DC when you arrived/ you're right
Barr was in DC when you left/ you're right

...

There ain't no use in going back / Barr's still livin' it up in the swamp

It is what it is. He's like a rock star. I've long heard from libs that the country is becoming more progressive. That's completely wrong. There is a movement in this country and it doesn't seem to be going away. There will be widespread opposition to an illegitimate president if he gets in. Will it be a civil war? Will Trump supporters employ tactics that antifa has done? Who knows? If you get your news from the mainstream media, you're fooling yourself.
I hear more about the MSM on here than I do real life.

Doesnt matter if he is a rock star. George mother flipping Washington was against this type of power. Its self defeating. All you are wanting to do is replace the old logo with the new one.

What do you want Barr to do?

That's been the point all along. Government is a confidence game. Lose confidence and it's game up. Rank and file bureaucracy aided and abetted by a bad idea to implement a poorly devised vote by mail scheme screwed the election. Somehow the damage has to be contained and minimized or the government as a whole appears exactly what it is ... incompetent. We may have rival branches in government, and state and federal governments vying for power; but in the end, everybody understands the government "has to be right". Anything else, and it unravels like a Ponzi scheme.

So no standing right? But I’m gonna guess this one goes on the Bama style Trump loss count too?

Standing was a genius judicial invention. It's the legal way to make problems go away - just pretend the questioner has no right to question. The judicial version of "I can't hear you" - just more like "I won't hear you."

It has a place though. Why should I be able to sue you for something that I was never a party to? How it’s administered is the key. Judges have a great deal of latitude but there are standards and precedent that are supposed to be applied in them reaching their decisions

that is my point, Trump to fire up his base is asking for a checks and balances with regard to signatures that he know can go nowhere.

So a little question. With regular balloting there are checks and balances - voter identification before the voter gets a ballot - the voter fills in the ballot because he/she can't bring an assistant and can't sell/donate the blank ballot - and the voter puts the completed ballot in the tabulator ... at least that's how it works with real paper ballots. There are people keeping an eye on the whole process up to the point at which they don't see your choices if you don't wave the completed ballot around.

The mail in ballot basically has none of those protections ... only the thinnest veneer of propriety - the signature. If no watcher was ever allowed to be close enough to examine signatures, and there is no real evidence that election officials matched signatures against voter rolls, do you consider the process valid? That a ballot recipient was actually the voter? That a completed ballot was actually cast by someone on the voter rolls? There's virtually no transparency in the vote by mail scheme, and that's why so many of us are calling BS. If the process was shoddy (and don't forget the absurdly low ballot rejection rate), then how do you correct the fiasco - other than pretend there was no fiasco?

BREAKING: Judge dismisses lawsuit challenging Biden’s win in Georgia
A federal judge threw out a lawsuit Monday that relied on conspiracy theories to try to invalidate Georgia election results showing Democrat Joe Biden defeated President Donald Trump.
The decision leaves Georgia’s results intact, supporting state elections officials’ statements that there was no evidence of widespread fraud.

No **** Sherlock. And once they have determined they have received a valid ballot they separate the ballot from any voter ID as required by GA law.

The point is whether the ballot was valid, there wasn't proper oversight because watchers were kept back. The rejection rate was absurdly low and there's no way to verify what was done. It's BS, and there's absolutely no way to prove things one way or another. That should say the process failed and the votes cast under that process should be dumped, apologies made to honest voters, and some heads rolled into baskets for sanitary disposal.

Are the faithful still trusting anything Sidney Powell has to say?

All I'm wanting to do? Who really gives a **** about George Washington or any other president for that matter. The real issue at hand is to have free and fair elections. Our constitutional republic demands it. Trump just happens to be front and center in this fight because he's in this election. That's why he has massive support.

I agree. Standing certainly needs to be there as a safeguard, but at the same time not abused. I think it's a great protection for say improper action against you by me. However, there's a problem when it interferes with that constitutional right to petition government for redress of grievances. If that right is abused then government becomes a tyrannical - able to act at will.

Excellent post.

Trump lost this election for 3 reasons:
His asinine behavior turned off white suburbia
He ignored the pandemic when people were dying
He told his consits not to mail in.
There were irregularities and there always are in every election.
No systemic conspiracy has been proven.
Wake up rubes.

I would like to know how much donald raised on his legal defense fund. jill stein collected 7.3 million in 2016 that she didn't even initiate any recounts. Let's see if the ultimate conman can out grift jill stein. I am betting that he will probably double that amount collected.

Well he lost. And judges have been throwing out his cases all over the place. What constitutes as evidence on the internet is either not being submitted to the courts or doesnt meet the qualifications for evidence in the courts. Under many conservative and Trump appointed judges.

Doesnt help that he still cant get the basic paperwork right.

Didnt trump actually gain number of votes by white people? I know he lost in the percentages that vote but I thought he still picked up white votes. I havent looked at that particular breakdown though for the middle class.
He didnt ignore it, OPERATION warp Speed worked. He even had it, hard to ignore something one has to personally deal with.
Not many of his supporters were ever going to vote by mail. And as long as they voted in person it's not a lost vote.

I agree with your conclusion but not with the premise you set to get there.
