As of now they are private businesses and can do what they want with speech. Very similar to the website you're currently using. That's not China, that's how it actually works in the US. The 1st amendment doesn't currently apply to twitter

They can't do that and continue under the protections of section 230. Which is why that is about to be removed from them.

These tech companies control information. Google, Twitter, Facebook, and the major news media orgs are how information is communicated. When one side is censored for no reasons other than political bias, that is very dangerous. You're just not concerned about it because it isn't your side that's being censored. But if it was, you could see past your own biases to see how scary and dangerous this is.

Further, none of us have completely "free" speech. There are limits to everything... including what you can say on Twitter and Facebook.

Keep an eye on Parler. They either prevent completely free speech, too, or get their asses sued when someone is wronged/harmed due to it.

There is a difference between removing violent and threatening speech vs removing political news that you don't like such as the Hunter Biden story and this election. This election is under litigation. You may think that it is stupid. And you're entitled to that opinion, but the fact remains that it is under litigation even at the Supreme Court level. To censor that because you don't like it is not the same as censoring violent threats. You know this of course, but it isn't your side being censored, so you don't care.

It's not political bias. It's called "disinformation". Spreading disinformation has consequences.

Prove it. An error here or there isn’t mass fraud. If there’s mass fraud it should be easy to show. We’re still waiting for any credible evidence.

We don't let bama fans post here unfettered and twitter didn't let some junk reach their users. My side is actually more concerned about the freedoms being taken away by govt than by some website I don't need to use. It's your bias showing

If the witnesses trotted out so far are the best evidence to a multi-state, multi functional conspiracy including local courts, supreme courts, the postal service, election workers, poll watchers, elected offficials including republicans, and appointed officials including those by trump.....
