I had a husband/wife team for Calculus classes about a year apart, but that wasn't the name. It seems like it started with an "M" and there was 2 ways to pronounce their last name. They pronounced it differently than the common way that I had usually heard. It may come to me later.

The husband/wife Calculus teachers in the late 60's were Montague. They pronounced it Mon-tagy, with a long a. I thought it was Monta-goo. Not actually goo, but like argue.
