2020 Presidential Race

When I try doing ancestry, everybody was already here and no link back to another country. My dad's side I can trace back to the revolutionary war including bounty land in WV. My mother's side keeps hitting a dead end at the great great grandparent level. Not that it matters at this point ...

Mixing Scots-Irish and Sicilian would seem risky business since both are known for being a little hard to control.
My Dad’s family has been here since almost the Mayflower. Both of my mother’s parents came through Ellis Island.

Did you have either Dr Soni for math while at UT? Seems like every calculus or other higher level math course I had was taught by either Mr or Mrs Dr Soni.
I don’t believe so. Did you ever have Dr. Lyday for anything? IIRC he was in the “nucular” dept. I had him for Engineering Drawing one quarter.

Yep, he taught drafting, but I thought he was ME. I didn't go into Nuc Engr until I returned to UT in the early 70s - all the stuff like drafting I took in the mid 60s, so it's possible I would never have associated him with the Nuclear program.

Probably I mis-remembered his dept.

OMG, I hated engineering graphics class. I don't remember what prick taught the class I was in, but he made an example of me by holding up my drawing of an open end wrench and saying "class, this is not the way you do it" in my best Indian voice. A few minutes later he came by and said "that is much better" and I didn't do a damn thing different.

Did you or Dave have to survey the hill over on the engineering side? Have to find the markers and use a transit? And what about the parking garage design on the other side of 2nd Creek?

Not having to chuck spears at wildlife in my opinion would qualify as a step up, but maybe you don't see it that way?
Again, the original subject wasn’t about industrialization/modernization. I’m not going to point it out a 3rd time.

The new alphabet people military wants you back.

Ok, here is another middle school flamer who thinks he can make himself look good by insulting people he does not even know. FYI, in those days, the Army did not accept "alphabet people." Here is a challenge for you. Say something that is not pathetically and hatefully stupid.

That poster has a lot of hatred for LGBTQ+ folks for some reason. Pointless to converse with.

Combat/Command experience, along with an alphabet soup quality, are the people we should want guiding our military
